I purchased this in December but couldn't install till now so it's past the return window. Amazon listed this as an exact fit for the 2006 Honda Accord but is clearly not. There is only 3 mounting holes on the new one and 4 on the original. Also the holes for the hoses are in the wrong place. I cannot use this product since it is the wrong part. However, build quality looks great. This is not a manufacturer issue, Denso is a reliable brand and I am familiar with their products. 2003 Honda Accord 4 cylinder, USA variant. Installed it myself fits right in no problems. Replace condenser as well, it not a recommendation it's a must. Comes with oil. (read my condenser review!!) Tip: Leave the cover that protects the AC fitting on while you're installing so you don't accidentally spill the oil inside the compressor. A Tip 2: After the install remove the O-Rings from the cover and replace with new ones. Tip 3: Before installing put all four screws inside the holes of the compressor, if you install the top two bolts first you won't have room underneath the car to thread the screws in place. My brother in law has a lift so installation was fairly quick and labor only cost me a 6 pack of beer. The AC is now working just fine and just in time for the hit humid NC summers! Its basically an OEM part. The bad one was the same brand and model as the replacement

after much procrastination and uncertainty I finally decided to buy the part, my mechanic when he received the part to install told me it would not fit my car. I insisted he pull the old one out and try to fit that one in anyway, .. he caved in after a couple weeks , just as I was about to return this one , and guess what IT FIT NICELY... PERFECTLY ..just need to get a new belt though... this part fit my UK made honda accord 4 door sedan 2.4lit engine 2003 model just perfectly,.. thanks ... show more

This compressor was the right fit and install was easy with no problems per my mechanic. As a side note, make sure you order the correct part for your vehicle..sometime just putting in the year/make/model is not good enough. Make sure there are no additional criteria needed. The first part I ordered did not fit and had to be returned. The price was much lower than what the dealer was charging. ... show more
