The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that it's coverage isn't quite as heavy as I'd hoped. Other than that, it's a great product. I can dab it on problem spots, let it sit for about 1 minute and then gently pat it to blend. Because it isn't really thick, I've had to do this 2x, on occasion. It lasts, even in the summer heat and humidity and really does help clear the blemishes it's covering. I'm very pale but the buff worked better for me than the lighter shades since I wear this without a powder or foundation over it. This color blends perfectly. My daughter, who does wear foundation over hers, uses a lighter shade and it works well for her, too. ... show more

I didn't realize how much I liked this concealer until I ran out of it and had to use Almay's Clear Complexion Concealer instead. Neutrogena's Medium shade was perfect for my complexion, and it went on smoothly. There was no discernible odor, making it even more appealing. My only gripe now is the horrendous uptick in price. One week ago, it was selling for $6.16. When I bought it a year ago, it was $7.27. Now it costs $14.49!!! I honestly kept re-checking my cart to make sure I didn't have 2 of them ordered instead of 1. Is this item that popular or in-demand that they can justify doubling the price?! I like the product, but I would rather go without than pay that much for that little. ... show more

Here is what I have learned from using this medicated concealer. It is not for everyone as it does have salicylic acid 0.05% in it which is what helps to clear the acne. However, that is not why I tried it. I have a problem with milia on my face, especially the nose and chin areas. If you are not familiar with milia, it is small hard cystic like round "things" right below the surface of the skin. Unlike acne or blackheads, they cannot be squeezed to get the contents out. There is a tool designed to just nick the skin at the site of the milia and extract it. This medicated concealer can be used then in a small amount to cover the area. If all the milia have not surfaced, this concealer will "draw" them to the surface for gentle removal. From what I understand, good exfoliation of your face will keep this condition managed. While all people certainly do not have this problem, I unfortunately do. So my experience is with this only. I also have found that this concealer can be very drying and will cause peeling of the skin since I do use it 2-3 times a day right now. But, I don't mind because I sort of need that action to get rid of the milia. Otherwise, if you experience drying or peeling of your skin, cut back to once a day or every other day. Also, as some have stated, it does not work that well for under foundation concealer as it can be very dry and will show through your foundation. Bottom line, if you need a medication for acne or milia, this works great, and it serves as a concealer while it is doing its job. Once healed, I will most likely switch to another concealer without this ingredient in it. I hope this has been helpful. ... show more

Hey! I’m an older guy now who never really had to deal with a lot of blemishes or facial skin problems. However, along with age, comes “age” spots/dark patches. I was a bit skeptical as to how this would work for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. I LOVE THIS STUFF! I even guessed at the color choices available and happened to choose a great match. It’s subpar.. I mean, it’s super finicky. If you leave it for too long it dries down and becomes unblendable. If you blend it quickly it’s gorgeous,, applicator is kinda problematic..
