Not only did it not irritate my skin, i was able to wipe off in one swipe some seriously heavy eyeshadow & waterproof eyeliner I used for halloween (color me impressed). I've used other brands, but Neutrogena smells the best (almost like nothing) and works well to clean my face and brighten my skin's appearance. I rarely wear makeup, but when I cleanse my face with these cloths I get compliments on how healthy my skin looks. I do actually "scrub" my face with it - that is, I rub it vigorously on my face in sections. I can see the dirt and oils when I do, so I know it's doing *something*! I bought a store-brand that said I should "compare to Neutrogena" and it works, but not as well and it has an off smell to it (imo). So I went back to this product and bought it a second time.
