    • Ease of convenience, easy to clean
The Nespresso Vitro next is a fantastic all-around coffee espresso machine but there are some drawbacks such as it is very noisy and leaks water. The other drawback is that the Reservoir is kind of small Roughly about 28 ounces so after the first espresso you might get three out of the tank before you need to refill it. This is the first of its type to have Wi-Fi attached to the machine it’s very interesting because basically the only thing good about it is that it updated firmware but other than that it’s completely useless there is no functionality from the app to the machine which kind of makes a pointless I can’t imagine that the firmware change is very often it’s a Nespresso machine not a computer that needs the latest firmware. Other than all of us the machine is fantastic there’s just some things that just don’t really make sense about the machine and one being how loud it is and to why it needs to be connected to a network that needs more functionality if you want network connectivity. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was saddened to pack up my loyal Verismo machine after learning that Verismo pods were discontinued. Reluctantly, I looked for a new machine, thinking I would have to settle for Keurig which makes mediocre espresso. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Nespresso Vertuo Next although skeptical to try something new. Not anymore! I am thrilled with this machine! It is so simple, and with the included frother, I can easily make barista quality lattes. I tried the double espresso capsules and they are perfect! I no longer have to use two separate pods for a double latte. I see that Starbucks is now making capsules for the Nespresso Vertuo Line so I may try these soon but I am very satisfied with the Nespresso ones so far so there is no need to switch. Since I’m an espresso drinker, I love the variety of espresso available by Nespresso and now Starbucks is coming on board, too. I am sure my new machine and I will have a long and satisfying relationship as I did with the Verismo. FYI, to make less foam for lattes, I learned to stop the frother a little before it finishes it’s full cycle. This way, there is more milk and less foam. The full cycle of the frother is better for more foamy drinks like cappuccino. ... show more

I initially wanted to order this so that I could stop giving Starbucks all of my money! I love the machine and have used it just about everyday(except when I ran out of pods), but I will say it is a bit on the loud side! The frother on the other hand is basically silent! I was a little iffy about getting rid of my keurig since I had bought the refillable pod and I didn’t want to contribute to coffee pods in the landfill but nespresso offers pod recycling! Luckily I haven’t had any issues other than not being able to get it to connect to my phone but that’s not a deal breaker for me. ... show more

    • Wouldnt work right out the box brand new...
I'd like to start with the fact that we spent a lot of time researching comparisons and reading the reviews of each of the leading residential Expresso makers. The two we narrowed it down to, the Delonghi combination espresso and coffee maker, and of course this specific Nespresso machine. We went with all the hype of the Nespresso machine, and eagerly awaited it's arrival. It was delivered hours ago, and of course we had to open it up and set it up right away as per my wife. I followed straight off the instructions and videos that they provided for the first cleaning, which should of been very straight forward and quick. Literally right off the bat, the machine is very loud (which I'm not sure is normal or not, seeing as I never got past the cleaning stage). A few seconds later the LED on the top starts blinking orange and the app tell me that the water tank is empty. Which I had already filled as instructed and in infact... Still full. After 25 minutes of troubleshooting and countless attempts repeating the exact steps, I was at a loss. I called the troubleshooting phone number provided on the box, and of course I got someone who I could tell had no effort in them. 15 minutes later after going in circles over the phone with the most pointless steps, like being told to uninstall the app.. as if that would make the machine work correctly, when the app doesn't controll or have any effect on the machine itself. The whole experience from start to finish was extremely frustrating.. I could go into more detail with each thing I tried before even calling the troubleshooting line, but just know that alone was frustrating enough... seeing as it's a brand new 200 dollar machine just opened. I shouldn't have that kind of trouble right out the box. To top it off, the tech on the phone spoke VERY slow and soft. After stating many times that I can barely hear him as if it sounds like he keeps walking away from the phone. Each time the only change in his voice lasted each a few seconds then back to sounding like whispering sweet nothings from across a whole warehouse. Just to get told that they would just send me a new machine and I'd have to return the one I had just received. He came to this conclusion after 2 very professional troubleshooting steps... 1. Uninstall and then reinstall the Nespresso app. 2. Try turning the machine off and then back on, followed by pressing the brew button 3 times to initiate the cleaning process again. Now that concludes all that was instructed by the tech over the phone before the conclusion was reached to just send me a new one and return the old. 15 minutes on the phone, not on hold, actually on the phone going back and forth trying to decrypt his slow whispers, and two steps taken. I opted for a no thank you, we would rather just return it and not have one sent. Then came a awkward pause, and a slow and sloth like expected "I'm sorry to hear that sir". That was it, and he said "bye". My Nespresso experience ended with those few whispering words. I was sad to not get to taste the hype, but with all that wonderful time spent, guess it wasn't meant to be. The requirements of rating with actual stars seems a bit far fetched seeing as I don't actually know what the flavor is like or the awesome "blending power" of a coffee maker that doesn't have that ability. ... show more

    • Fast, great tasting coffee!
Makes great coffee! I love coffee but have always needed a spoon of sugar before I tried Nepresso. Now the coffee is perfect so I don't want sugar! Be sure to clean it regularly, as if it gets dirty it stops working. There are YouTube videos on how to clean. Use Nepresspro descaler to clean. Nepresso could improve this product by including a how to clean and keep clean instructions with the product. This is my favorite coffee maker ever, and I've tried from Mr. Coffee to pour over coffee. This product is a definite buy! ... show more
