Well, it’s not a real espresso machine, based on the quality & amount of coffee made by my Breville Barista pro that is at the same price. But it definitely an upgrade to other Nespresso original or Keurig. What I really like is the auto foamer that does a decent job. Customized menu and LED screen is nice to have but not necessary. I started off with a Nespresso Original Line Mini machine and Nespresso electric frother. Loved it for past 5 Years. Moved that to work! Then got the Nespresso Vertuo for home to make full cup of coffee and got hooked on that too. I stopped buying anything except Nespresso. So I decided to get the best Nespresso offered for household use which is this Creatista Pro! It is absolutely stunning. Looks so nice on my coffee bar. It makes perfect coffee drinks and has a good selection to make including Americano (it even has a separate hot water nozzle to make it which can also be used by itself if u needed just hot water for a tea bag). If you are on the fence about spending the money, just do it. It has elevated my coffee experience and so fun when company comes over. ... show more

    • Do NOT Purchase!!!!
This is the second Breville machine I purchased in a month. The first time the machine broke with in three weeks. The machine powers off during the foam/froth cycle. Then shuts down and does not turn back on. We returned the first machine thinking it was just a defected item. The new machine has started to do the same thing, this time with in 5 days; Power off in the middle of the steam cycle and not turning back on. I have called Breville to try to talk to customer service, was sent to a call back que but never called back. When I tried to call to wait on hold, a recording told me to wait for a return phone call and was disconnected. The machine would be great if it worked as it should. Easy to use and makes great coffees. Now we are stuck with dozens of Nespresso pods and not machine to use them it. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. Breaks within a few days/weeks, customer service stinks. Buyer Beware ... show more

OMG, I am in love with this machine. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but so far I am really happy with the decision to splurge. My old machine (a CitiZ) died after eight years of hard use, and I had been eying this one for a while, but intimidated by the high price. It would have cost me $300 just to buy the same machine again, so I decided to just go for it. I’ve made espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and americanos, and they’ve all been delicious. My coffee skeptical spouse is enjoying it also. I like the fact that the coffee and the frothing occur as part of a single step (not at the same time, but you only have to press the button once), so I’m glad that I decided to just go for the Pro. I have several Breville appliances and I’m happy with all of them. I have seen complaints about the reliability of Breville products but I’ve had no issues with any of mine.     • Awesome, Super Convenient
Originally I wanted a traditional espresso machine, ended up getting this because I'm not that passionate about coffee to the point where I want to grind my beans and pack my portafilter every single time I want a cup, especially not when Im serving to others. Speaking aside from the ethical values of Nestle this thing is flippin awesome. Having a great tasting cup of coffee every single morning is like no other. It's pricey for most people who are used to traditional filter coffee but in the grand scheme of things I personally see its worth. The great thing also is that Nespresso has very little protections around these traditional coffee cups which has allowed many companies to make their own which are more in line with what I like in terms of taste and morality. I highly recommend this machine if you like a good espresso and dont have time for the super fancy stuff. Its fast and efficient and makes a great espresso/ and or lattes. I love the look and style of it-super modern and goes with my kitchen...not to mention its super user friendly. The touch screen is a game changer and the automatic milk frother saves time( you dont have to froth it yourself like some of the others ). Lastly- it self cleans pretty well.....for the price well worth it. 5 STARS!! ... show more

    • I just want to drink coffee all day now!
I’m in love. I’ve used some Vertuo and Original models while vacationing abroad, but since I usually use my pour-over-like electric brewer daily, I didn’t see the point in buying an espresso machine. However, my husband started asking if we could get the “same awesome coffee we had in Greece.” Having worked in a cafe as an undergrad, I tried to explain the importance of pressure, the need to clean the machine, the expense for a high end that would make espresso and steam milk as he hoped for and I would accept,… all of the reasons not to splurge. Then the Creatista Plus and Pro went on sale! I love the ease! (I didn’t have to give my husband grind-tamping or milk-frothing lessons! lol) It cleans up in a breeze and reminds of deeper cleaning needs.     • Misleading Advertising, Build Quality and other details.
Nespresso doesn't make clear that the US version of this machine only operates at 110V instead of the EU 220V version. Which means that is not possible to make both espresso and frothed milk at the same time (one of the major advantages of this "Pro" model). The build quality is really good overall, but the front face of the machine is made with cheap "mirror like" plastic that will scratch if you wipe it with something that is not a delicate microfiber cloth. Also worth to mention that the (non replaceable) milk jar is designed to froth large amounts of milk (latte and macchiato), so if you just wanna make a cappuccino or flat white, you will have to either throw away the extra milk or froth it below the minimum range, harming the froth quality. I really like this machine and Nespresso's ideals of making a great quality espresso drink with little time and effort, but I would never recommend it for more than $650. If you want this machine, wait for an appropriate deal. ... show more
