I didn’t realize when I ordered this that the backboard is literally the cardboard packaging. You detach it from the rest of the packaging and pop in the hoop and hanging hook. I know this is on the less expensive side, which was its draw… but I wasn’t expecting cardboard. I do appreciate that the ball is soft enough to throw in the house. And assembly was fairly easy. My son could not even utilize this toy. Every time he tried to play it would fall off the door or the netting would come off. Everyone has to own one of these at some point in there life. Why wait, you're here, just get it. Sturdier than they used to be and the hoop can break away (collapse w/o actually breaking) for those that get too aggressive.
