So, it makes a nice expresso, and it has a gauge that goes up to 20 PSI, but assuming the gauge is accurate it never goes over 15lbs. Everything is made as inexpensive as possible. Not sure how long it will last.

I use Cafe Bustelo espresso ground coffee from Target and I love the taste. the only thing I have a problem with is the steamer. it is super loud and doesn't fit to the bottom of many cups. I just bought a steamer cup and it works a little better. but still not great. ... show more

Liked the looks of this unit and was looking forward to trying to make espresso, however, when going through the first use/cleaning process the gauge in front started to fill with water. Don't think that is supposed to happen and it wasn't in the instructions. Needless to say, I unplugged, it boxed and returned it for replacement. If it happens again, I will return it for a refund. The instructions, by the way, are poorly written and not 100% clear. 8/12/2023 update- returned this through Kohls August 4th. It arrived August 11th in Phoenix, its intended destination. My 'Returns" page on Amazon doesn't show that I returned it and I can't talk to anyone smart enough to fix it. Stay tuned! ... show more

I liked it very much at first sight, checked the manual, the operation is very simple, this machine is very easy to use, I use my own coffee powder and filtered water, this machine is basically plug and play. The dispenser is easy to clean, as is the drip tray since it can be removed or anything else wiped down. I like that the tank is removable because I can fill it with filtered water and take it to my machine. The hot water arm is great, I often use it to quickly heat water for tea, so it's a great value for me. The machine also has a small footprint and I can slide it into where I used to have a small kettle and cups. Overall, this is a great machine, perfect for a cup of coffee and a quick way to hear how much water you might need. ... show more

The machine is mostly made of plastic. It would have cost a lot more if it was a solid stainless steel machine. The espresso machine works pretty good and it makes good tasting epressos. The single or double shot feature works pretty good. I have used the double shot for a 16 oz. latte (that looks better than Starbucks). The top of the machine doubles as a warmer (I really don't use this feature), so if you are patient you can turn it on 15 minutes before brewing and get the cups hot, or keep your extra steamed milk waiting for a second round. It really only goes as high as 10 bars, no matter how I pack the coffee. The steamer is really loud. Eventually I will upgrade to the $800 one, so I can get better bars and the grinder is attached to it and that would be less mess to filling it up. This was a beginner for me and the cheaper machine has saved me some money so I don't have to go to starbucks or McDonalds to get coffee. This taste just as good as the ones I shop for. ... show more
