The mattress was easy to unpack and puffed up rather quickly but as the directions said we let it completely puff up for 24 hours without sleeping on it. There was no odor and everything was as described. Great mattress!! Will be upgrading all our mattresses to Nectar!

Set up was nice and easy, have your frame/box spring ready to go. I put my sheets on early and slept on it the first night it was received.. I had been sleeping over the floor for a long time. It was firmer than I had expected, and there was unevenness that was quite noticeable. Over the next 2 days this sorted itself out, It became softer but not too soft. The contouring process is on the slow side, there’s a tempur pedic in the other room which I have slept on.. and I’ll say that this is firmer than a tempur pedic. It sleeps warm/hot, but not as hot as the tempur pedic. I suffer from lower back problems, and I have not yet woken up with back pain since receiving this mattress. Edge support is softer than I’d like, but it’s not a deal breaker. I read a ton of reviews saying that this will not support anyone over 230 lbs.. well.. I was around 245 and it supports me just fine. I’ll send another update after a month or so.. if I remember. 3 month edit The beds has been great, I haven’t noticed any sagging. It remains very supportive and comfortable. No back pain, I would recommend this bed for others that are back/side sleepers. I see a lot of bad reviews and cannot really attest over them, sleep comfort is highly subjective. If you aren’t overly picky, want something reasonably soft but supportive, then I’d say give this bed a go. ... show more

Not cheap, but I looked up best bed in a box & found Nectar at the top, so I paid $500 for full size. Two very clean & capable Amazon techs delivered & set up -- fast, neat, friendly. Bed inflates within minutes, could lay on it in an hour but they say wait hours. I waited about 3 hours & excellent firmness. About twelves inches of solid firmness that seems like it couldn't have been compressed into a box . . . atop there's four inches of body hugging supportive softness. Quite incredible for a bed in a box. I've got it on the floor & it's plenty tall to push myself up into my wheelchair, just a few inches taller. Very pleased! ... show more

We decided on the spur of the moment to finally upgrade our mattress during this past prime day sale and ended up getting a great deal on the King sized Nectar Mattress. It was half off, I’ve heard great things about these beds in the past and after carefully doing some research just to make sure it would fit our needs, decided why the heck not and purchased the bed. It came within three days and after setting up a new bed frame for it we unboxed it-which I would do with help as the box is heavy and the sealed plastic covering the bed is a little harder to get off alone, although I’m sure someone could do it by themselves but would be much easier with help. Some reviews said the bed takes days to fully inflate but ours inflated fully within moments, almost instantly. The picture attached to my review is taken not even twenty minutes after we unboxed the bed. It is firm but also has the memory foam feel that has your body sinking in slightly and conforming to your body as you lay down. I’m a shorter, bigger woman about 260 lbs and it’s just the right amount of soft and firm for me. I add that because some people have suggested that the hybrid model mattress is a better fit for larger people as the medium firm model may be too firm and uncomfortable for larger bodies. I’m so ridiculously comfortable and relaxed in this bed and have slept better than I have in quite a while so that’s not the case for me at least. My fiancé is about 190 and taller and he’s equally comfortable and satisfied with the bed. This is simply the best mattress we’ve had in ages, only to be rivaled with our old Tempur-Pedic we had years ago which was the best sleep I ever got on any mattress in my twenty some years of life. This bed is up there on that level though and more affordable so I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. If your debating whether to buy this bed or not I wouldn’t wait, amazing sleep and comfort are just an order away! ... show more
