    • I'm beyond impressed!
Let me first say that I'm about 300lbs and have dealt with lower back and shoulder pain for years. After research and assessing my budget, I chose the Nectar Premier. I had momentarily second guessed my mattress selection and wondered if the Hybrid would have been the best solution. Most reviews suggest the Hybrid is better suited for heavy people. Due to the industry leading trial of 365 days and lifetime warranty, I figured I'd at least try the Nectar Premier, besides, it fit my budget better.. The mattress was delivered on time and packaged adequately. I was able to single-handedly unpacked and stage the mattress in the bedframe with minimal struggling. It may have been easier to get my wife's assistance but pride got in the way. I didn't notice any unpleasant odor as some reviews suggest from foam mattresses. The mattress expanded quicker than expected. Nonetheless, we gave it plenty of time to "decompress", about 10 hours. Upon bedtime, our hightened anticipation was met with surpassed expectations. The mattress was much firmer than expected, I assumed it would be a bit too soft. The support was instantaneous and quick to react to shifting positions. The reaction time is amazing, there's little to no feeling of being sucked in and unable to move. I tend to sleep near the edge and found the support to be surprisingly consistent, not once did it feel like I would fall off the bed. Another concern was if we'd sleep hot as reviews suggest, not at all. I purchased a "cooling" mattress cover, bamboo sheets and a light blanket also promoted as cooling. We live in Arizona, sweating at night is quite common. Our first night's sleep was absolutely delightful! I don't recall a similar night full of dreaming in many years. The biggest surprise was not waking up periodically to shift positions due to pain in my back and shoulders. I cannot tell you how much it meant to sleep through the evening so comfortably, waking up feeling rested and without pain and stiffness. What a game changer!     • Comfy and supportive.
It inflates itself, and there’s no odor! I’ve slept on this mattress at a friend’s guest room before. Found it on sale and pulled the trigger. It’s very comfortable and supports my spine in a way I’ve never felt before. Like my lower back was actually sore for 5 min as my spine and muscles were so used to just sagging. This mattress propped them up in all the right places and I woke up refreshed. Honestly the first night I woke up before my alarm. I’m no longer being dragged into a black hole sleeping next to my partner. Considering it was basically half off and even cheaper than the sale on nectar’s website, and came with install and removal of the old mattress I am very happy. Slept beautifully! ... show more

    • Review for Nectar 13” Queen Premier, our first non-traditional mattress.
1. Shipping packaging: arrived in cardboard box. Inside, mattress is vacuum-compressed within thick, clear plastic. It is rather heavy (70+ lbs) for its boxed size, so have help ready to lift, etc. 2. Unboxing: make sure your bed frame is ready, before opening the plastic vacuum wrap! Once the seal is broken, it expands quite rapidly, and is unwieldy. 3. Expansion: 3-5 hours minimum is recommended (by manufacturer). We allotted about 7 hours, before we slept on it, and it seemed OK. There was little to no odor. 4. Initial sleep: of course, any new mattress requires a bit of “getting used to”. First sensation when laying upon it is one of slight envelopment. Not a negative, just a bit more initial “give”, than we were accustomed to. Support seemed to be in a 6+ range. Welcome lack of pressure points, particularly when side-sleeping. Back-sleeping was extra restful, for me. 5. Consecutive sleeps: after a few nights acclimating, our initial comfort assessments are unaltered. It does feel a slightly warmer, than any previous mattress, but this is easily adapted. Rolling over does take considerably more effort, but due to the comfort level, we found ourselves rolling much less often. 6. Incidentals: There is little edge support, with this mattress. If you frequently sit on the edge of your bed, you may find this awkward or challenging. As this type is less rigid than a traditional mattress, moving it around (to do periodic rotation, for example) is more laborious – almost a “dead weight” experience. 7. Overall impressions: We are pleased. So far, this seems to be a cost-effective, convenient, expedient means to a new, comfortable mattress.     • Wow Amazing Mattress!
This is my first foam mattress, and I took a leap of faith when I purchased it. I have slept on them for brief periods before but never full time. I got frustrated with my older conventional Sealy Posturepedic because when I slept on my side my arms and shoulders would fall asleep and I would wake up in pain. I bought a foam topper, but it was too thin and only gave me a little relief. I eventually got fed up with waking up to aches and pains and did my research and purchased this fantastic NECTAR Premier foam Mattress. I admit for the first 72 hours I was pretty concerned since it took that long for the NECTAR to completely expand and form up the proper density. What a difference! I never wake up in pain, I fall asleep so quick I love it! I hope it lasts a long time but so far I am very very happy with this mattress and highly recommend it to others in search of a comfy mattress. I wanted one that was at first soft then got firm as you sink in, so it maintains my posture but creates no pressure points and this one is perfect. ... show more
