There are brighter lights out there, but I don't think anything brighter than this would be particularly useful for the average person. My son had this exact model and I used his while he was visiting. This is the best flashlight I've ever seen and rechargeable! I ordered from Amazon during their black Friday sale at a great price. My son paid ~$70 for his, not sure where he bought it though. I got a great deal on Amazon. Now I'm not using any of my other half dozen flashlights! We have tried several other rechargeable flashlights and quickly realized that they were not bright enough nor did their batteries last long enough. I bought two of these Nebo Davinci 5000L rechargeable flashlights and last night was a very good test. We were out for two hours at the medium setting and then an additional 30 minutes at full power and the flashlights continued to shine brightly. Flashlight is rechargeable which is great, but it doesn’t hold the charge for very long. I feel like when I go back a week or so after charging it it doesn’t come on. When i turn it on, it goes off in two seconds. It’s the most frustrating, useless, and annoying flashlight Off I’ve ever owned.
