For those who have a model 6, you've probably experienced interface issues before, and persistence usually pays off. However, this time it didn't matter how many times or what tricks I tried, she just wouldn't hook up with the internet.     • Neato D5 now works again
Like other reviews here, when the lith-ion battery starts to fail, you'll first notice that the D5 or D7 has to go back to the charger in mid-cleaning. Then it will finish the job. But when the D5/7 doesn't go back out to finish, or it stops all the time not knowing how to return to the charger, that's when you need to replace the battery. This battery was a little trickey to install because of the small space to connect and also fold in the wiring. But once it was in and we brought the D5 back to factory fresh (see steps for D5 on Neato web site) the little guy went out and did the whole job without charging. Haven't see that in 3 years. So far so good. We'll see how long this replacement battery lasts. ... show more

Other than slightly challenging to unclip the original battery that wore out after years of 2x/weekly use, this easy to replace oem battery restored our trusty D5 back to its powerful self that sucks clean our hardwood floors.     • It brought my 2019 D4 Neato back to life
For the last year or so, my Neato whom I affectionately call Jarvis. It would take half the day to clean less than 1000 sq ft so than I blocked off space to have him about 400 sq ft to clean and still Jarvis wasn’t doing it for me. I initially attempted to buy the battery direct but it was always sold out. I finally checked Amazon and got it. It wasn’t too bad to install but once I did, Jarvis went from working like an 99 year old to being a spring chicken. He now takes about an hour to clean the space.
