    • GREAT WATCH - RETURNED DUE TO POORLY DESIGNED STRAP CLASP

I bought this watch as a Lightning Deal. Tried it on and found it was virtually impossible to close the strap clasp with my free hand. It's easy to close if you aren't wearing it and have two hands. With my wife closing it, it was OK. BUT .. what happens when I am alone? I tried and tried, but was unable to close it with my free hand. The strap free end has to be pulled onto the other end with the locking clasp and has to be aligned just right. Try pulling one end of a watch strap while wearing it without the watch slipping around your wrist. Gave up and I am immediately returning it. As for the rest of the watch, the strap itself is quite nice. The watch isn't huge, but a good size. The face design is very nice, with the back light lighting up almost the complete center of the dial - really nice. I thought about perhaps replacing the strap, but then that added cost kind of destroys the value of the deal. I am really disappointed that the clasp just doesn't work for me. I am disappointed about this watch, the band is no good. I only wear it twice. It continues to fall off my hand so I no longer wears it. The clip that is supposed to hold the band on your hand doesn’t fasten tight enough so as soon as I move my hand it pulls off. If the band was of a better quality the watch would be ok at least until it stop working. Cheap and no good. ... show more

I like everything about this handsome watch with the beautiful backlight. It is manly, sturdy and rugged but yet stylish and lightweight. I didn't even have to adjust the stainless steel band. It fits my wrist perfectly. And so far all of the features are functioning properly.

I have tried buying watches through Amazon. This is the third or fourth watch I need to return. I love the color, I think the watch looks stylish, but there is too much going on when you look at the watch. I simply do not know what to do or how to use it. The directions are terrible. And the biggest problem for me is that clasp. I simply can not put it on by myself. It may be fine for others, but I can't stand it. Therefore I must return it and give up my search for a watch. I really like the design and layout of the watch. BUT - the digital displays (day, date, day of the week) are so faint that I can barely make them out with a casual glance. Hence the one-star rating. This problem is not apparent in the photos of the watch in the ad. If the display were made brighter, I would certainly buy this watch. The watch looks nice but no real color description on the website. I purchased the BB which I assume is Black on Black. Not happy with the glossy black, I wish it was more of a flat black. Here is my biggest problem with this watch, the background items (Day of the week etc) looks white in the pictures but its not white cant even tell what color since I am color blind. Makes it difficult to read. Other than that looks like a good sturdy watch. They also advertise waterproof but in reality its only water resistant. Good for the price. ... show more
