Nature's Truth LLC is a vitamin brand launched in 2015, owned by NY-based Piping Rock Health Products. PipingRock has been selling vitamins through their own website since 2011, and added the Nature's Truth brand for other retail channels such as Amazon and local stores. I've used several products direct from Piping Rock before. Under both brands, they do their own manufacturing, in the US. This product comes in a translucent green bottle with a green lid. The lid has an outer plastic seal and an inner peel-off seal. The label includes a retail UPC, and says it has "No gluten, wheat, yeast, milk, lactose, soy, artificial color, artificial flavor, artificial sweetener, or preservatives", and is non-GMO. The bottle I received in July 2023 has an expiration date of February 2026 printed on the edge of the label. The suggested serving size is 2 capsules, so at that dosage, there are 100 servings per bottle. Each capsule contains 300mg of cranberry extract (equivalent to 15,000mg of whole cranberries), and 100mg of Vitamin C as ascorbic acid. The pills are a bit large and hard to swallow at times without liquid. These are structured as a gel like pill. The taste is not bad. I did not have any positive or negative side effects. It has other ingredients in it. Just be sure to read them beforehand, in case you are taking other supplements that can cause taking a higher dosage of ingredients. ... show more

I just received my bottle of Cranberry and Vitamin C. I have trouble finding one's with that much Cranberry plus C in the stores. The price of $19 isn't the best, but it is average compared to the stores, so worth buying, especially If you have Prime. The pills are a bit large and are gelatin capsules, so for some might not be easy to swallow. There is no taste or flavor. I will post update after taking for a while to let you know how well it works. I have taken Cranberry before for UTI's, but never one with as much Cranberry and Vitamin C. ... show more

Cranberries are supposed to help with the urinary tract and help manage UTIs. As with any supplement only time will determine the effectiveness of the product. These cranberry capsules are gelatin capsules which can be hard to swallow for some since they are on the larger side. The recommended serving size is two capsules. Each serving contains 600mg of cranberry whole fruit concentrate and 200mg of Vitamin C. So far I have been taking the recommended serving for a few weeks and have not noticed any changes but will continue to take. ... show more

    • Good quality supplement, high dosage?
I have been taking cranberry supplements for a few months for help with urinary tract health, as recommended by my urologist. I don't like the taste of cranberry, so I wanted a supplement rather than juice. As with most supplements, it's hard to tell if it's working for several months. I have tried Azo in the past, but I hate that it changes my urine to bright orange. I'm glad that this product is non-GMO and doesn't have the added dyes and other unnecessary additives. It's similar in price to other cranberry supplements I've tried. My only concern is why it has 30,000mg per serving, when the recommended dose is up to 1500mg depending on the info source. I'm hoping this won't be too much and cause other issues (hence the 4 stars). ... show more

I always research supplement manufacturers/distributors because I have to trust what I'm putting in my body. Nature's Truth certainly appears to be a quality brand. They have a whole line of vitamins and supplements, and without exception they get very good reviews on Amazon. Nature's Truth products are also sold in big drugstore chains, which puts my mind at ease. This cranberry supplement appears to be of good quality. It has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. The expiration date is 2.5 years in the future (received 7/2023, expires 1/2026). A serving is 2 normal-sized capsules, and each serving contains 600mg of a 50/1 whole-fruit concentrate (along with 200mg of vitamin C), equivalent to 30g (a little over one ounce) of fresh fruit. That's typically a good dose. However, details are lacking. The best cranberry supplements detail the level of active molecules present (mg of proanthocyanidins) and the origin of the fruit or concentrate. The Nature's Truth supplement reveals neither. Nor does it claim to be 3rd-party tested or to be made in a GMP certified facility. These things have value, and since they are lacking I cannot award 5 stars to the product, even though I expect it is a fine cranberry supplement. ... show more
