The dog food is decently healthy I would recommend this as well as some raw chicken eggs mixed, and some raw chicken wich you can find for cheap at Walmart, aldis, or Gordon’s food supply. This is what I do for my Dogo and pitbull and they enjoy the food. It’s well priced. Would recommend.

My dog has an extremely sensitive stomach due to neglect from his previous owner. I rescued him at 8 months and had to search for something he could eat without having vomiting and diarrhea. Jackson is also a typical picky husky 😂 We found this food locally at the recommendation of a pet store employee. We’ve been buying it since then. Never had any issues with the food at all. We have 4 dogs, two of which are black labs. They have a completely different coat than our outside, country guard dogs, so we are very picky about what to feed them. We switched to Nature’s Recipe Grain Free dog food several months ago, and that product is fantastic in regards to filling them up and keeping a nice, shiny coat. Last month I thought I’d try a new flavor for them, and I picked the Original, thinking it was also grain free. That was 1000% my fault!! Last month our dogs started itching like crazy! To the point of biting their hair out! I showered them with prescription shampoo, added coconut oil to their good, tried a daily egg, added a natural vitamin E oil to their coats, started them on daily Zyrtec, and occasionally gave them a Benadryl, for their sanity and ours to be honest. When our dog food started getting low, I took the almost empty bag out of our pantry, and that’s when it finally hit me!!! It was the f*ing food! I felt like a damn jerk!! They have been absolutely miserable day/night, and even the vet visit didn’t bring up thoughts about their food. This company’s GRAIN FREE food is great and we will continue to buy it! But if I were you, I would not ever, ever but this product again, nor would I even donate it or feed it to a stray! The pics were taken about 2 1/2 weeks in after starting the Original food. The itching almost completely subsided 4-5 after going back to the GRAIN FREE!! I hope this review saves someone else and their fur babies from having to go through this!! ... show more

I highly recommend adding beef bone broth to your dogs food and fish oils as well. Your dog will do happy tally dances while your getting their food ready they will love you so much and actually love their food but I use this as a base and add things to it. This is much cheaper to Purina Pro or Core + (non chicken/no added grains). My dog loved this when we first got it in 2021, and within the last year, it has become increasingly STINKY and she won’t eat it unless she’s is starving. We are switching food.
