This lip product is the first I've used that doesn't dry out my lips! It's so hydrating. The texture really is like honey, but not overly sticky. It lasts quite a while as long as you don't eat or drink. Also, it smells SO YUMMY. Imagine a lychee jelly or lychee boba, that's what it smells like with no artificial-ness to it! First of all, I ordered two different colors, and they're exactly as pictured. The color is also buildable depending on how many layers you put on, and it doesn't even look weird if you overline a bit. I'm not sure how exactly the plumping effect works, but it does. I have tiny little bird lips, and they look PLUMP when I have this on. It's super silky and glossy, comfortable to wear, and easy to apply. No noticeable flavor at all. It lasts hours before reapplication is necessary unless you eat/drink. A very good "dupe" for the original that so many people know and love. I'll probably end up buying this in every shade that suits me. Definitely try it out! ... show more

This is a first… a product that stays on, looks great with or without your own lipstick or pencil color added under or above. The shine is intense, and it feels thick and moist for hours like your fav balm. The smell is subtle and nice. I’m so glad I have discovered this new generation in lip butters. The tinted color can be described as your own lips but better. I can’t believe how it fills in all the imperfections, like city lips but goes beyond! ! It’s smooth not sticky and not a lip oil. I have nothing to compare it to that I have ever used! I’m hard to please and have a long history of using the best cosmetics, this is exceptional! I would give it a 4, but not sure how much product is in the actual tube, and if the mechanism will push up the lipstick as needed, for that it’s a wait and see. Over all it’s a fantastic product! I got the Fig color and I’m warm toned. It looks great! It’s like a 3 in one, moisturizing, glossy, and tinted. It doesn’t feel greasy or sticky and it left my lip feeling moisturized for a while too. There is a nice sweet honey floral smell to it, but I wish the smell was a little more subtle.

The color was so pretty and it is a very buildable product. The shimmer is subtle but perfect for what I wanted. It is a little heavy when you first put it on but not more than a usual gloss. My biggest complaint is that it has a VERY heavy fragrance that reminds me of laundry detergent. It’s not a bad smell but it is very strong. As someone who has a phobia of digesting chemicals and dying, the fragrance is not my vibe so I probs won’t use it sadly. ... show more

I noticed with this product: -Subtle, buildable color -Needed 3 layers to achieve an obvious color differemce from my natural color with this shade (coconut). -this shade in particular was great for a neutral look--made my lips a toned-down peachy-coral shade. Great for a daily wear! FYIs: -smells like grape candy, for those who may dislike -feels smooth on initial application, but becomes tacky feeling after a couple hours -if having trouble applying because it pulls at your lip, rest the applicator on the center of your lip until it warms up--it should glide better then. ... show more

I really love the Nature Republic Honey Melting lip sticks. The Lychee shade is super flattering and I think it would be on most people. It is sticky, but in a good way, it makes the balm look glossy. It’s really easy to apply after you click the balm up, just don’t click up more than you need because it doesn’t go back into the tube. It’s not 100% stain resistant, but it stays on a good while for me. I didn’t have to continuously apply it. It tastes to me like most lipsticks do, like a waxy taste if that makes sense. These last a really long time so they are a great value for the price! ... show more

I like it, it changes to a light pink on my lips, it's perfectly glossy, too. Be careful clicking the product up, only do it on use, it's meant for each application. Posted before and after, first picture I have on clear lip balm cuz my lips are splitting (as you can see 😔) second is this product after I let the color develop for a few minutes. It has a cooling effect to it for the plimping effect, it's not like the burning sensation like the Too Faced plumping lipgloss. Doesn't really taste that minty, no actual flavor to it, actually.
