The cushions are thick and have plenty of solid foam--not too hard but just perfect support. My son is 6'6" and he is able to fit quite comfortably in the chairs. We wanted to redo our small patio with two pedestal chairs and a loveseat (and fire pit) that were sturdy and comfortable. These fit the bill nicely. The only drawback we experienced was that we assumed, coming from the same manufacturer, that the cushions would match, which they did not. We will camouflage that a bit with colorful throw pillows. Although the set came damaged, Natural Leisure sent a replacement part immediately. The set is sturdy and stylish plus the cushions are thick and comfortable. It's a little laborious putting it together but well worth it. One thing to note is that the chair seat height is a little lower than most outdoor dining tables. ... show more

This furniture is so pretty and so comfortable. The cushions are thick, but not stiff. The arms have a nice woodgrain finish that matches the table, which is metal, but looks woodgrain. It took us a little time to put the first chair together, but once we caught on the second one assembled very quickly. My initial tracking information was only for half of the items, upon receipt of original shipment I had to track down the balance of my order. It would have been good if I were given all of the tracking information at first.
