Why oh why does anyone use that awful styrofoam that falls apart when touched? I loathe this kind of packaging. I loathe worrying about finding a different kind of packing method instead of being able to use the original box. With that being said.     • The greatest story ever told, in human history! We are really happy with these figurines - mostly.
A fabulous quality set of figurines. A great size, that is also heavy and certainly therefore, fragile-feeling. It is then a real shame that the colors do not look quite as vibrant as the webpage colors. And, the quality of the painting is not quite upto the quality that they show, either. Its not that it is bad but, it is just that it is not quite as good. It is also a real shame that it did not come with the Manger. I would have thought for this price , it would have included this too. These came very well protected in some polystyrene. This kept them safe for thier journey, but oh-my-gosh, the mess! Each figurene was covered in statically-charged polystyrene particles, that would have took us hours to clean completly off. In the end, we found that a vacuum with soft brush head was quickest to take care of this task. But, DO NOT PUT IT BACK in the shaped box it came in, or you will most likely have to go through the whole episode again, next year. We will have to find some other way to protect these each year., but in a much better way. Overall, we are really happy with these figurines. They will dress our Christmas Nativity display each year. And, for years to come, will become part of our family's heritage, now. However, for the price that buyers are being asked to pay for these, we would be expecting perfection. And its just not quite there. They are definitely worth buying, if you can find a deal on them, as they look pretty amazing onece they are all stood up and arranged. ... show more

    • Lovely nativity set
This is a lovely, well-crafted nativity set—an essential Christmas decoration for Christians. It came packaged in expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) and about half of the figurines were also in plastic bags. (Not sure why all of them weren't in bags.) Of course, all the figurines were covered with small bits of statically charged foam and it's going to take some work to clean them off. But with that done, this set will make a beautiful addition to our Christmas decor. ... show more

This is a pretty nice looking nativity set. It comes with a good assortment of figures. Each is painted well. The colors look good. The size of the figures makes a nice display on a tabletop or mantle. I like that this set not only comes with the Mary, Joseph and Jesus, but the three wisemen, a shepherd, an angel and three animals. Overall, this is a great looking nativity set. ... show more
