When I purchased my Airpods Pro, I started looking for a case that would not affect the magnetic closure, would not add bulk in my pocket, and would look and feel great in my hands. This case definitely fits the bill. There are many cases out there that depend on tape to keep the top cover on or even a connecting piece from the bottom part to make sure that the top piece doesn't fall off and get lost. This case really ultimately depends on a tight fit that won't get loose to keep the top part on, and I love it. I think by doing it this way, and really - kudo's to the designers and production people, because it really eliminates excess and added bulk to the piece. When closed, the case looks really good, as there are very minimal gaps from top to bottom pieces, and the fact that it is leather definitely helps with the feel of the piece. It looks premium and IS premium. The last criteria was that it wouldn't affect the magnetic closure, and I'm glad to say that it doesn't, and in fact, seems to help keep the case more shut than normal, perhaps it's an artifact of when the leather touches leather from the opposite side. Regardless, I feel more secure knowing that the case won't flip up unnecessarily. I've tried a couple of other cases, with a mix of materials, and I have to say, this is by far my favorite, even with the price premium. I prefer leather cases for my phone, kindle, even my MacBook has a leather sleeve. This is real leather and the fit feels a bit permanent. I think i would ruin it if I tried to take it off. It covers the lanyard slot and also the sound ports on the AirPods Pro v2 that were recently released. I always resist spending extra only to be nervous about quality. This one is excellent, very happy with it. I used to have a set of Sony headphones at the office and use the AirPods Pro for the gym and travel. These are coming to the office, the gym, everywhere and will be protected in style with this case. ... show more

some video reviews say the seam doesn't match up perfectly at the lid, but mine is tight and perfect. The leather is very high quality. I would venture to say this is the thinnest material leather option on the market. It has a really great feel. Rather than super black black, it is almost charcol, which is awesome. I was debating between this, and the Nomad Leather case. Went with this because I did not like the middle band that has. The stitch on this one is amazing. I had a cheap silicone case. The top flapped around all the time, never staying secure. Naturally, I worried about this case, but I wanted a leather (or leather-like) case to match my leather iPhone case. So I gave it a shot anyway. It's super secure on the AirPod Pro's charging case and looks great to boot. The only thing I wish they had done was provide a stopper piece for the lightning port on the bottom - I almost always charge wirelessly, so it would've been nice to keep that covered and clean. ... show more
