This majestic Downswept Douglas Fir tree is 7 feet tall and 55 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches, creating a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. My husband and I are getting older and have nobody that visits for the holidays. We previously had an 8’ tree from this same company. The lights went out after 5 years. We considered going without a tree given our age and how heavy our other tree was. We ordered a shorter tree instead. This tree is perfect for us! This tree comes in two pieces, and a metal stand. The bottom section has hinged branches. The top section has metal branches that can be bent into place. The branches have two types of material. The innermost part of the branches have thin plastic greenery while the outer tips have a rubbery structure giving you a fuller looking tree. All of the branches are very sturdy and will easily hold even heavy ornaments. The picture is after one “fluffing” and I’m pleased there aren’t many gaps. After some more attention, and ornaments this tree will be beautiful! It also came with replacement fuses, lights and light bulb pieces! ... show more

This is the first 'regular' size Xmas tree that I've purchased in years and the first one that didn't already come with ornaments attached. After searching through numerous trees on Amazon and reading the reviews I decided on this one in spite of some poor reviews. The description says that 'assembly' isn't required but it is, although not too much. This came in a fairly small box considering the size which prompted me to call a male friend to carry it inside and upstairs until ready to set up for the holidays. He had the tree assembled in about 15 minutes but left me to fix the hinged branches to my liking. I'm waiting to do them all until it's brought downstairs but started with the upper ones to get some idea of what it's going to look like when finished. This tree is NOT sparse as one person stated - if done properly the tree does appear full - it just takes time and a good eye to arrange nicely. (As a female that's something that I don't mind doing!) I looked at some trees that were more expensive and some less expensive and am very pleased with this one! The white lights are carefully placed and spaced around the branches and all the lights worked on mine. The branches can be shaped and bent with ease and can also hold regular ornaments without making them sag or pull down the branch. For this size tree I bought ornaments that are different sizes (from 1 1/2" - 2 7/8") and shapes to make it look interesting, but I don't think something over 3" would look that good. The hinged branches was something that I wasn't familiar with but it means the branches 'fold down' which makes it pretty easy to set up. The tree has an upper and lower section and the stand needs to be attached but the lights didn't need any stringing or fixing (only unwrapping). I can't say it 'feels real' as it's described but the colors of the branches look 100% natural, with some having a touch of brown on the tips. Personally I think this is a great tree and a very good price! I don't plan on disassembling the tree for storing from year to year since I have a lot of storage space but I don't think it would be as easy to take down as it is to put up! ... show more

It’s a really nice tree!! takes a while to fluff it out though so don’t be alarmed when first pulling together! Has a waxy feel to it but if you’re ok with that then all good! Barely any artificial “leaves” fall either so it’ll probably be an easy clean up! It’s very full and assembly is super easy! the plugs are all in one part of each section so super easy to find and use! Would absolutely recommend!! ... show more

This is my first artificial tree and I just set it up yesterday. It is life like, easy to assemble and appears well made. It did take about 90 minutes to adjust the branches for a full look but it is full, once adjusted. My only complaint is that 750 lights on a tree this size is too few and the lights are not thoughtfully placed , so that there are a few dark gaps. I hope that once ornaments are placed, they won’t be as noticeable. ... show more

I really like this tree, I was a bit nervous ordering one online because you never know how things will be. But it's a very nice tree and I'm quite happy with it. It was really easy to set up once I managed to wrangle the box inside. You just set each piece in place and connect the lights strands. And then you fluff and fluff and fluff the branches. It looked really pitiful when I first set it up and I was a little worried, but after fluffing it looks nice and full. I didn't time it, but I'm guessing it took around 45min to get it looking nice. And then as I was adding the ornaments, I'd fine tune the branch placement. The branches are metal so they feel nice and sturdy and the branch tips are a mix of the PVC needles at the outer edges and the other ones further back for filler. There is a lot of depth to it. Some artificial trees seem to only have the outer ring of branch tips and then totally empty behind that, but not this one. Also, it has plenty of lights and again they aren't all just at the outer edges. My biggest concern was there not being enough lights and having to add more, but this seems just right. It's not going to trick anyone into thinking it's a real tree, but it is far more realistic than many others I've seen. Overall I'm really happy with it. ... show more
