This majestic Dunhill Fir tree is 9 feet tall and 66 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Made to look and feel lifelike, the stunning realism of the tree is defined by its close attention to detail, featuring hundreds of individually crafted branch tips that make up the wide, full-bodied branches that create space for your lights and ornaments. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. I have always insisted on a "real" tree but my husband and I get getting older (mid 70's and mid 80's) so we decided to try an "unreal" one (I hat the term fake) and we are thrilled. i was worried when I read the reviews. Now I will admit we got a 6 1/2 foot tree which probably made it easier to deal with than a taller one. It was a snap to put up. Yes, there a LOTS of branches but that's what makes it look so real. My suggestion is to put it up as soon as you get it and take your time "fluffing" it. The cool thing about it is if you see holes, they are easy to fill by just moving the branches around. I'm going to start out that I love this tree. It's amazing, beautiful, very tall and fluffy and it looks beautiful. Definitely worth the money and much less expensive than a similar tree I found at Michael's Why the four stars and not five? There are two reasons, none are major and I don't necessary care but people get spun up on some things and I want to mention it. One, some of the lights did not work when we had it up and running. I was more annoyed than anything because I knew I would have to get a string of lights that match...whateves, I would just deal with it. However, I was determined to figure out why they didn't turn on. I tested each section BEFORE I assembled. So I wiggled and jiggled the connections and boom, it works. I'm sure next year there is a 50/50 change of me having to go get lights but the tree is sooo amazing, I don't care. Second issue, there were some lights broken...not a big deal for me but when I found them and tried to remove and replace, there were whole sections that went down so I just left it. It takes a LOOONGGG time to fluff out when you first get it. I took my time and it was about three hours the first day and two the next...wear gloves too. Once I was finished...wow. Just Wow. It's this beautiful tall christmas tree...it's the nicest tree I have ever had . It comes in a large box so you can just store it in the box for next year. I'm assuming when I set it up again it won't take so long to push all the branches into place. So if you need a large, tall tree with beautiful lights to impress when people walk into your house...this tree is highly recommended. Just be aware that it takes a few hours to fluff it out...but i suggest having a tree set up party and bring the wine. ... show more

I will say that I do love my tree. I think that the branches and needles are beautiful. The lights are also good. However, my boyfriend and I spent two hours fluffing it and it didn't even come close to looking as full as advertised. There are lots of holes. There are also spots where there are no lights. Not that they don't light up, there are just not lights at all. I would buy this tree again, just not for the price that I paid. ... show more

It’s a nice tree, but for the money…. Meh. Two of the bottom branches have a short in it and the light will only work half. I will check on that after Christmas. Some spaces seem hard to fill in and the metal stems are easily seen. In other words, you’ll need a lot of decoration. Plenty of lights and it looks good. ... show more
