The instructions were clear, but the kit does not come with a container to grow the crystal in. The only container we had that would hold 3 cups of boiling water was a pyrex bowl and I'm afraid it may be ruined. :(

I purchased 2, one for each of my (7 & 10 yr old) grandsons. Finally, grandma’s gift was a hit!!!
