  • I love it! This is is great
Size: Large-X-Large
I love it! This is is great! According to amazon, it says I bought this November 9th, 2012. I use this on all of my night runs and every run in the winter. Most every run of mine in the fall/winter is in the dark! This vest has been soaked in sweat and washed many times times and seems to hold up well! It is light weight and comfortable to wear without a shirt underneath on those super hot nights in the summer. In the winter, I only/always wear a under armour mock turtle neck and a light wind breaker for my runs, even in sub zero temps. This vest fits great over everything. I am 6 foot and about 200lbs and my vest has room to spear. But i'm not swimming in it. Maybe with no shirt under it, it is a little loose, but not bad. One night I was running on a back country road, and this guy pulled up and said how well he could see me and thanked me for not being "a dumba$$ like those other runners who wear dark colors when running at night". That was a good feeling! And it made me feel a lot more safe when wearing it! I have also filled out the emergency contact info card that comes with the vest. I did leave it in accidentally when I washed it, but it was surprisingly in good shape. I have not use the key slot for my key yet, but it does look safe and secure. I always tie my key to the draw string of my shorts instead. If anything ever happens to this vest, I will definitely buy another one just like it! ... show more

  • Functional and bright
Size: Small-Medium
I bought this mesh reflector vest to go running as the days get darker earlier. It's extremely effective and is so light that I forget I'm wearing it. I previously used the reflector vest that uses the straps and buckles and, while that still offered a good amount of visibility, the buckles would bounce during my runs and even start to come loose. This, however, stays put because it's so light and uses velcro straps. The size seems to cover a wide range since it's adjustable, so you should be good if you pick your usual size. If you need something that will improve your visibility at night or even during the day, this is a great choice. ... show more

  • Great for running and biking!
Size: Small-Medium
I used this for Ragnar this summer and it worked well. It is adjustable and I got the smallest one possible but there's still some room to spare (I am 5'2" 123lbs, athletic, small). This can be a good thing as you can use it on top of thicker clothes during winter. Although it seems a bit big, it stayed in place well and didn't move around as much. It's designed well that the arms won't get caught on the vest during the swings and it's super light it's almost as if it's not there. Can't comment as to whether it can cause chaffing if you're wearing tank tops because my runs were rainy and I was wearing long sleeves. I haven't worn it since Ragnar but I do expect to wear it more later this year when the days get shorter. The vest's reflective strips are also designed to hold lights if needed. Pretty handy! ... show more

  • just in time for end of daylight savings time!
Size: Large-X-Large
overall just what I needed to stay safe on my walk/runs. It's probably just inflation, but the cost I thought was over the top expensive for how much material etc was involved. Compared to other reflective products it seemed to be inline however. Of course how important is it to stay safe and alive?

  • Good fit and decently reflective, but there are better ones out there
Size: Small-Medium
Very lightweight and breathable, which was great. I didn't even remember that I was wearing it. Also had a some decent places to clip on blinky lights while running. Cons: it doesn't have as much reflective areas as some others. There are some that have reflective piping all over - those seemed much more visible. If I were to buy another, I'd probably go with one of those - if you're going for visibility you might as well reflect as much light as possible. ... show more

  • well made, minimalist and very bright at night
This is not a reflective shirt, so I am not looking for something to hang down to my waist. I am 6 foot tall and 180lbs and the L/XL is perfect. The length takes the bottom of the vest to about an inch below my last rib. This vest is adjustable enough for me to wear over a t-shirt or three layers of clothing and when running it does not jostle or move. I don't want to even notice it, and that is the ultimate effect. Other than the reflective material, the main part of the vest is a lightweight mesh fabric. The reflective properties are beyond excellent and very bright when car headlights hit the material. If you want minimalist, effective safety reflection combined with the least noticeable vest that will also stay snug on you then this is your product. If you want a full shirt-like coverage, a loose baggy vest, need a bunch of pockets, or are looking for daytime and nighttime attention then it may not be what you are looking for. ... show more

  • Perfect size for a minimal vest
Size: Small-Medium
It is not supposed to fit like a full vest. I think everyone saying that the size does not fit must think it should fit like a full shirt or something. This is a minimal vest. This is intended to go half way down the torso staying out of the way of other gear. My husband is 5'10" and 170 lbs and the SM/MD size fits perfect with or without cold weather gear. There is even a small loop in middle for a LED reflector light. This is perfect for runs in the dark. If doesn't move or slip. It even has the nice Velcro that is very fine so that it does not scratch skin or snag other clothes, although it does easily snag the vest material so it's best to store it attached and wash in a linen bag. This is exactly what we were looking for ... show more

  • Great Product, Small and Lightweight
Size: Small-Medium
I don't typically run using a reflective vest, but it was required for a Ragnar Relay event my wife and I entered. We had used "construction" type reflective vests in the past and they are big and bulky and not really build for running. These small vests are perfect for running long distances. They are smaller then your expecting and only come down about to your sternum but that is all you really need. The vests are perfect for running at night and in the heat because they breath. I would recommend to any runner using this for night running. ... show more
