This journaling ephemera collection is large. There are duplicates of every piece, so it would be easy to divide this among your teens, students, friends. Some of the pieces are sheer paper tape, but most have to be glued down, so keep that in mind. Huge selection of colors, themes (I love the mushrooms) and textures to work with for myriad projects, or if you just hoard scrapbooking ephemera (don't judge, lol), this is a great choice. ... show more

    • Lots of small pieces, max of about 4"x6" in size, great for collage projects

I love the themes and the variety of both colorful and muted paper and sticker pieces, and they're quite useful for creating collages and layer stacks, especially when mixed with a few pieces of kraft paper and cardstock bits. The paper is thin, but that's good for scrapbooks as the layers end up making the books far too thick otherwise. The washi-paper stickers are backed with a plastic backing, so it's easiest to roll a bit of the front up and grab the backing that way rather than trying to peel the backing off. They stick fairly well, though you do have to rub the edges down--but if you have experience with washi tape, you know that's normal due to the removable/repositionable nature of washi adhesive. I could wish this kit came with some frames, but it's trivially easy to turn some paper corners or a few torn strips into a frame for a special photo. Or grab a roll of washi tape, or paint a patch of gesso... ... show more

I couldn't decide between "astronomy" and "vintage" so I just went in on the whole thing and am so glad I did!! I use these scrapbooking bits mainly for miniature room kits & dollhouses, and was very surprised to see the "art" pack is going to be so incredibly useful for my projects!! The picture frame stickers alone are worth that pack, plus all the sheet music, artwork for my mini walls, all so awesome. The astronomy one was not as retro or spooky as I was hoping, but there is PLENTY I can use (the world maps were a delightful surprise) and the vintage pack was everything I hoped it would be. The nature pack is going to be nice for decorating cards & gifts, but for the most part all the flowers & artwork are way too large for the scale I use. It is going to be great if you like scrapbooking with a garden theme. I think a little plant pot would look super cool with this artwork decoupaged all over it. I wanted to take more detail pictures of everything that's in these sets but they all have so much stuff in them that it would have been way too many pictures for this. I will say that I don't think these would really disappoint you because you get a big variety of stickers and papers in these that journaling ideas is honestly kinda endless. I already had the "art" set before I got these and the stickers do adhere great and the papers all have a variety of designs and such on them. The image quality for everything is pretty clear and detailed. I did noticed that between all four sets that the "vintage" set was the thinnest out of the collection. When I actually looked inside it didnt have less papers and way more stickers compared to the other three sets. So I hope that more papers get added to it in the future. I really cant wait to start journaling with these. I really love this collection. ... show more
