  • Perfect for Long Runs – Especially for the Army 10-Miler!
The Nathan Hydration Running Belt was an absolute game-changer for the Army 10-Miler. It kept me hydrated and hands-free, which made all the difference during the race. Pros: Comfort and Fit: The belt is incredibly comfortable and doesn’t bounce or slip, even during intense runs. The adjustable waistband fits snugly without feeling restrictive. Convenient Hydration: The two flasks hold just the right amount of water, and the ergonomic design makes it easy to grab them mid-run. No need to stop or slow down! Storage Space: The storage pockets are a great size, fitting my phone, keys, and gels comfortably. The zippered compartments add extra security, so I didn’t worry about anything falling out. Lightweight and Durable: Despite the storage and hydration, the belt feels light and durable – perfect for both short and long-distance races. Cons: Flask Cap Security: The flask caps could be a bit more secure. I had a small issue with leakage when I didn’t tighten them all the way. Access During Run: It takes a bit of practice to access the flasks smoothly during a race, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not a problem. Overall, this belt was a lifesaver during the Army 10-Miler, making hydration easy and convenient without weighing me down. Highly recommended for any distance runner looking to stay hydrated and well-prepared! ... show more

  • A Lightweight, Secure Hydration Belt for Your Runs
I recently purchased the Nathan Hydration Running Belt (the Trail Mix Plus) and it’s been a total game-changer for my runs. First off, it’s super durable—I’ve already taken it on a few long trail runs, and it still looks and feels as good as new. The belt itself is surprisingly lightweight, which is a huge bonus because I barely notice it once I start moving. Functionality-wise, I love having the two flasks—it’s enough water for most of my runs, and the storage pockets are perfect for my phone, keys, and a couple of energy gels. Everything stays in place without bouncing around, which was my biggest concern with a running belt. The adjustable fit is really comfortable, too, and I never feel like it’s too tight or too loose. I also appreciate the color options they offer, and I chose the blue—Overall, if you want a belt that’s tough, lightweight, and holds exactly what you need, this one’s worth checking out ... show more

  • Not insulated, but not bad
Pros: I'm a thin runner, size 28, and I can still put this on, tight around my waist. If it sits on my hips instead of being tight, it's bouncy but somehow not bothersome. The bottles slide in and out during my runs with a surprising ease. At 9 oz each, the bottles carry enough water for my long runs in summer, but they are not too big or heavy. The top doesn't need to be in closed position for the water not to drip out. Easy to get just the amount of water that I want, it could be a tiny squirt or more. Cons: The bottles can get slippery with sweaty hands. And most importantly, the bottles are not insulated. When running in the summer, the water goes from super cold to room temperature in 20 minutes or less. ... show more

  • Not for thin people
I am disappointed with this product. I am very thin and, although the product is advertised as “fits most”, it doesn’t fit me right. I have to pull it as tight as it goes, but then there is about a foot of extra belt on each side and no place to tuck it. The picture shows a loop where you can tuck the extra belt length, but when you pull it as tight as it goes, that loop gets jammed right up against the buckle between it and the wide part of the belt where the energy gels go. There is no space to wind it back and forth to store the excess belt under the loop. I wish Nathan had use a belt extender to accommodate larger people instead of such a long, fixed belt. The belt itself is made well. The pocket is nice and works great for a large phone. I would have rated 3 stars, but the other problem is the bottles leak. I had another Nathan hydration belt before this one and the bottles wouldn’t leak even if you shook them hard. Nathan can do better. ... show more

  • Best running water belt I have used so far.
This belt is much more pricey than the generic ones all over Amazon, but it is much better design and worth it. Bigger bottles, bigger carrying pouch and better elastic belt. Also I had to used the warranty after using it for many months and the service was great.

  • Sloshes Up and Down leaving mark on my back and water bottle holder broke after only a few runs
I assumed this would be a great product because of all the sales and the good reviews. I have two main issues. The first is that there is a strap that holds the water bottles from falling through the holder. One of mine broke during one of my longer runs, making me hold the bottle the hole time. This could've just been a defective unit which is a bummer. The major issue I have with this belt is that if you put anything in the pouch, especially anything as heavy as a phone, the pouch is going to move up and down making a sloshing noise and rubbing against your back. It's loud and irritating and there's no way to secure it down. I'm surprised not many other people call this out. I've had an amphipod belt in the past that did not cause this issue. I reached out to Nathan customer support and got no response, which was disappointing. I'd avoid this model and look elsewhere. I've only used this thing on a few longer runs (probably 5 at most) and it's past the point of me being able to return it unfortunately. Happy trails! ... show more

  • Cute AND practical
This is my fourth Nathan hydration belt. No other brand has worked for me. I use them for running and roller skating. This one is better than the last as it has more room in the bag portion without being more bulky than older models. Also, Nathan belts are the only ones I’ve found that don’t get in the way of my arm swing when using them. ... show more
