This is great for a walk around the neighborhood or a hike where there are water stations. The bottles are small so not good for long hikes/walks. The fanny pack part is a great size.

Disappointed in this product design by Nathan. I am normally very pleased with their running gear. I have bought many of their items over the years. This one is poorly made and/or designed. I run technical trails and the bottles often flew out as I ran (leaped about). They sit too high in the cradles to where they also rubbed against my lower back area. Additionally, within 3 weeks, water began to accumulate in between the inner and outer shell of the bottles. ... show more

I assumed this would be a great product because of all the sales and the good reviews. I have two main issues. The first is that there is a strap that holds the water bottles from falling through the holder. One of mine broke during one of my longer runs, making me hold the bottle the hole time. This could've just been a defective unit which is a bummer. The major issue I have with this belt is that if you put anything in the pouch, especially anything as heavy as a phone, the pouch is going to move up and down making a sloshing noise and rubbing against your back. It's loud and irritating and there's no way to secure it down. I'm surprised not many other people call this out. I've had an amphipod belt in the past that did not cause this issue. I reached out to Nathan customer support and got no response, which was disappointing. I'd avoid this model and look elsewhere. I've only used this thing on a few longer runs (probably 5 at most) and it's past the point of me being able to return it unfortunately. Happy trails! ... show more

The Nathan Hydration Running Belt was an absolute game-changer for the Army 10-Miler. It kept me hydrated and hands-free, which made all the difference during the race. Pros: Comfort and Fit: The belt is incredibly comfortable and doesn’t bounce or slip, even during intense runs. The adjustable waistband fits snugly without feeling restrictive. Convenient Hydration: The two flasks hold just the right amount of water, and the ergonomic design makes it easy to grab them mid-run. No need to stop or slow down! Storage Space: The storage pockets are a great size, fitting my phone, keys, and gels comfortably. The zippered compartments add extra security, so I didn’t worry about anything falling out. Lightweight and Durable: Despite the storage and hydration, the belt feels light and durable – perfect for both short and long-distance races. Cons: Flask Cap Security: The flask caps could be a bit more secure. I had a small issue with leakage when I didn’t tighten them all the way. Access During Run: It takes a bit of practice to access the flasks smoothly during a race, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not a problem. Overall, this belt was a lifesaver during the Army 10-Miler, making hydration easy and convenient without weighing me down.
