I purchased this because it works for LARGE napkins ... it did not, unless I wanted to sit down & fold every napkin in half. I don't know what kind of napkins they used in their photo, but regular sized napkins are way too big. Visual... this is about half the size of a regular napkin. I used half the amount of napkins and folded them in half. I'm not happy with it all at. But I'm giving 3 stars because it is a functional napkin holder. I did not think I would get excited about a napkin holder. But this is nice. It is sturdy. The black paint/coating does not want to scratch. Nothing is flaking off. It does not bend under normal use. It has a solid feel and yet looks dainty. It is a nice touch. For me, I am using it for bills to go into when someone brings in the mail. It looks nicer than a pile on the counter.
