I have already discovered the NAOEVO small pod lights from a previous order and I LOVED the beam profile and how far they throw light but also have a spill that gives plenty of usable and useful light in between the end of the throw and the origin of the light at the pod. By FAR AND AWAY THE BEST BEAM PROFILE I have come across with all the lightbars and aux lighting options I have ordered and reviewed to date. The lights don’t just throw a light way out in front in one spot that I have to select/aim for it to be useful and they don’t produce a useless spill/flood that ends up being distracting. Instead these combine the best aspects of both of those beam patterns into one light. I was hoping that all of that would also be true for the 20 inch light bar also and thankfully IT IS! Only it’s better by 5 times because it is 5 times bigger than the 4 inch pods! I just got a New (used) RAM pickup and the headlights, even with the fogs on are horrendous so I knew I needed to add supplemental lighting to it similar to what I did on my GMC because I live semi-rural and seeing deer at a distance out here keeps my trucks out of the body shop. I have been running another brand’s pod lights on the windshield edge of my hood…four of the 4 inch pods and that allowed me to aim them of sorts because they are “spot” pods and the light is pretty focused because they are throwers. Since then I discovered NAOEVO’s 4 inch pods and THEY PUT MY EXISTING PODS TO SHAME!!! The throw farther, have a better LED color temperature and they produce a bright fill that lights up the “in between” area really good so I can see EVERYTHING from the light all the way to the end of the spot light beam and everything in between. THIS KIT IS NO EXCEPTION only that the 20 inch is like having 5 of the 4 inch pods all stacked side by side and then I get 2 extra 4 inch pods to “aim” at dead zones so I can light up the front of my trucks patch like a football stadium at night here on the back roads and also on jobsites when I work “late” during daylight savings time winters. I have had zero issues with NAOEVO lights…no water, no dead LEDs, No Cooling problems…no nothing. Just install, and they work. Speaking of install, I have seen a lot of cord kits with a switch and relay in my day and this one tops the charts again because it is good quality, came with extra fuses, comes with rings preinstall for the battery hook up and they include crimp ends to be installed on the lights once all the wire is run and then on the cable side the crimps are already installed! So It is literally plug and play after a couple of crimps. I did not have to supply any of my own connection hardware or do any soldering like I have in the past on my other lighting upgrades to everything I have owned in the past decade, to include my zero turn lawn mower. Yes I have lightbars on my mower that aim front and back so that I can mow when I get home late in the “winters” ….we still have to mow here in the south even though we abide by the same clocks as everyone else, our grass still grows. Bottom line is I wish I had this exact kit on both of my trucks instead of just the one. The beam performance and the blend of throw and spill is {chef’s kiss} ideal for having 100% usable and useful light at all distances between the origin and the end of the throw distance. In fact, this one kit would cover what I would have needed to do my zero turn lawn mower also without needing to piece together what I did to get what I got on it now. This is a great value for a light kit that is really good quality, lasts without water ingress and throws such a practical and useful light array. Absolutely recommended and not because it was a VINE Item. I actually genuinely like these items and would (and will soon) pay my own hard earned money for them for other vehicles and projects. These would be supertastic for off-road and mudding with a full size 4x4 or even a razor, atv, utility, farm equipment, backhoe, gator, tractor or anything else that rides in the dark that has 12 volts.     • Blinded by the light
These mofos are bright af. Like Jesus is calling you bright. We put these on our golf cart for night time driving and ending up calling every moth within a 450 mile radius to us. So yea it would be nice if the lights were dimmable but they provide what they claim

These lights are exactly what I was looking for. I do a lot of driving at night on dark roads and sometimes trails. These lights have really widened the area that I can see around me, which makes me feel much safer driving in the dark. The lights are bright and provide great coverage. I got these to replace broken trail lights on a RZR and they work great. They were easy to install and are very bright. They seem to be made well and have seen some rain and mud without any problems.

    • Wide light foot print
Nice wide foot print with this light set. Super bright. They have a great finish and has held up well to many branch slaps on the trail. Easy to wire in and easy to mount with the right brackets. Look clean on the push bar of a Kawasaki Mule. Really add to the head lights a lot!

    • Bright, well built, fused - these are great!
This light bar set is bright, with a little area lighting and a decent hot spot for longer range lighting. At 12v the smaller pods drew 1.1A, and the light bar 6A. Together that gets nearly 100W, and the brightness appears to be reasonable for that power draw. At 20V the power draw was slightly higher, going just over 100W total. Included are mounting screws and brackets, as well as the hex keys to handle the screws. You’ll still want a socket set or wrenches for the bolts and nuts. It also includes a well made, and complete, wiring harness. This has battery terminals, fuse holder and 15A fuses, relay, power switch with indicator on the switch, and three lengths of wire to go the lights. The switch has both on and off indicators so you can tell when it has power, which is a nice touch, and they are separate labeled leds so there’s no guessing for us colorblind folks. Overall a great kit at a good price. Note that while the lights are rated for voltages higher than 12v, the relay and switch are not, so you may need to alter the wiring harness to use them with 24v vehicles or power tool batteries. ... show more

    • Nice Budget Light Kit
All the wires and relays are rated for more than this light will use which is nice. The lights have aluminum radiators which seem to work well to keep temps manageable. The mounting hardware is kind of janky and might not allow you to mount this in certain ways. I made a trip to HomeDepot to get some different options for mounting. It works fine to mount on a standard lightbar but i had something alittle different in mind for my work truck. The top light and fog lights basically have the same LED pattern and thus spread. So the "fog" lights are not really "fog" lights in that the pattern/beam spread is not really typical of fog lights. My main gripe is that they only included like 8 inches of wire on the light side, this means you'll have a wire splice and the splice might be close to the outside or underside of the truck. I would have preferred them to be at least twice as long so i can tuck and hide any connectors well inside the engine bay. It's not a big deal but light makers should take note.     • Excellent light kit for a great price.
These are all wide-beam lights. The small ones are not spot lights. This kit provides a tremendous amount of coverage for off-road driving. They don't provide light at long distances like a spot light would, but they do light up your surroundings sufficiently for the speeds most people drive when off road. If you need light at distance when driving at speed (like in a nighttime race), you need spot lights. These suit me just fine for the slower trail riding I do.
