This is the first silicone hand I've gotten and it feels like a human hand. It looks like a human hand. And the price is not bad for the quality. Only thing I notice was the hands looked a bit more grey brown than the tan it shows in the picture.

For the price, these are pretty great! I paid $120 for the pair and that’s about a 1/4 of the cost compared to the most popular brand in the states. Obviously the quality isn’t going to be quite as good, but for the price, I’m pleased with what I got. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is these need to be made with shorter nail beds and have deeper pockets and thicker silicone on the finger area the pocket sits under. The nail beds are unnaturally long which means the nail pockets are shorter than they could be and the thin silicone means the pockets aren’t secure enough for the tip not to wiggle around a lot or for overzealous filing not to cut the cuticle area. If the company corrects these easily remedied shortcoming, these would be 5 star for sure! Update: Did my first set for school on these and they display the nails beautifully. I have taken pictures of the hand in many different lighting types to show the color you will get depending on how you light it. I enjoyed working on them much more than the super cheapie hands the school provides. However the tips are not secured well and do move a lot in the pockets unless you glue them, as I was figuring they might, and the thin cuticle area is very delicate. I’m still very happy I purchased them but will save up for a much more expensive but durable hand down the road. Unless they fix the issues...then I’d buy from this company again Instead. Fingers crossed they’re actually reading the reviews and taking notes. Shorter nail beds, deeper pockets, more durable cuticle area! Value for the money is outstanding though! ... show more

Let me tell you this hand is definitely a must have its way cheaper then a red iguana hand and does what its supposed to the nail pockets where not a problem the nails i use are reg full cover nails like what you would use for press on nails just find the right nail size push in & glue down in place & then glue the tips on the way you would if it was a persons real nail the glue i use is reg kds nail tip glue it holds the nails in place you just cant be rough when filing & hold the finger to make sure u dont tare the sides and when your done u can pop them off easily & with a little bit of soap & water ur hand is cleaned from all dust & glue & the clip to hold it works great so if your looking for something affordable thats looks &feels good & bends this is the right hand by the way i just ordered a 2nd pair so one is the 1 i work on & the other is just for pictures ... show more

I am pleased with my purchase! 1st: the delivery date was set for a month out and I got it within the week of my purchase if I’m not mistaken. Thumbs up to them as I wasn’t expecting it to arrive so soon! 2nd: quality - the details on the hand are realistic- it flexes well and stays in place for easy application - the overall structure helps (base is sturdy, while fingers flex in whatever direction you please) 3rd: when you apply your base nail according to the instructions (using ACRYLIC GLUE LOL As they emphasize that repeatedly in the instructions lol) you will not lose the nail during the filing process, if you are in fact using her for practicing my acrylic application. I named her Susan! And I am so happy getting her! In my photo was my first time filing stiletto nails and I will only get better with her help! You looking for a good practice hand this is it! if you’re like me I dive in product reviews before any purchase. So I hope my review helps an aspiring nail tech genius get this gem! I keep scaring myself because I leave it out and I think it’s a real hand. It’s very realistic and to stick the nails to the hand without gluing them I just use tacky putty.

I was impressed even more when I received these practice hands (I purchased the pair) as I was sold after reading all the good reviews about the product. I’m a Nail tech. student and I highly recommend to start off with something more affordable like this. I’ve used it once to practice acrylic overlay as well as tips (thumb) and the images provided are after removing that set and as you can see there is hardly any damage and ready to reuse, do make sure to follow instructions for removal. There was slight damage to the cuticle area on index finger due to filing manually, I do wish the cuticle area would be more durable but other than that it is great & very good for pictures. ... show more
