The glow and build of this melter is amazing. It's beautiful, looks like an actual fire pit. It melts wax well. Love the cute lid. It adds so much to my room. As others have mentioned, wax is hard to take off so a silicone tray would fare better. My main issue is the melter is very lightweight, it's easy to knock over which I have a few times now. It takes only a slight tug of the cord and it's flying. You can say I should be more careful, but all my previous melters were ceramic and very heavy which made them very sturdy. I'll be finding a way to add weight to it and that'll make it the perfect melter. It has fallen a few times and still works perfectly so the build of this is outstanding. It looks so cute and works very well! The coating on the warmer part makes it easy to change the wax if you let it warm up a couple minutes and then slide the old wax out.

I bought this for my office at work. Instead of taking one of the ones my wife has at home, I decided to try to find one a bit more manly looking (I'm male) for my office to help make my space a bit more fragrant and less musty smelling (My office also houses servers for our organization) I am very pleased with the look and feel of the warmer, I am somewhat disappointed as the warmer tray/bowl seems to hold a single block of wax very well. At two blocks, it seems to be overly full and doesn't seem to melt it completely and also seems overly full and I am afraid of spilling it when trying to empty it. As far as it not seeming to completely melt the wax, this may also be an environment thing. Like I mentioned before, my office houses servers so it has an air conditioner running 24/7 and it is held around 68 degrees Fahrenheit, so maybe it's just not able to overcome the cool room temperature? I was very happy when I pulled this out of the box. It runs like a dream, looks adorable in my little cubicle setup, and doesn't overheat or anything so it is just enough to warm wax and release scent without causing undue heat. Looks just like some glowing embers- without the smoky smell!

It leaves a soft warm glow and it over all looks nice. it is easy to clean even if you don't buy the coffee filter looking things that they recommend. the plate comes right. The only thing i would say to watch out for is the plate is very small so don't put big melts in and be-careful with mid size melts. ... show more

This only works with the was cubes, not the wax that comes in the cups. I don't understand why - it's just not hot enough. The dish on top is really shallow. It's pretty, but others work better.
