My puppy loves it. I have to buy more. She’s only 10 months old and she’s in heat now, but I throw her one of these. She loves it.

    • No rawhide
No Rawhide because the puppy can't digest it. It a teething ring and the package tells how much they can have a day. They don't have a stinky smell, they come in different flavors . They are round and pretty easy to break in the size they should have. The bag last about a month.

    • Tough to break apart
We have a multiple dog household. A 12-year-old, and a three month old Australian shepherd/border collie mix. Well, when we give one a treat, we have to give both of them a treat. And I’ve learned they want the exact same treat. I am not strong enough to break this ring in pieces. So I give one to my older dog. She breaks it up. The little dog grabs a piece and runs. Of course all the other pieces get eaten by my 12 year old dog. Since I don’t have the flexibility to give them smaller pieces, it gives the older dog much more of this treat at one time than I would prefer. Both of my dogs devour this in record time. No slow chewing. No lasting for days. It’s gone before I get the dishes put in the dishwasher. It may work perfectly fine in a single dog household. Or maybe if you had an older dog who did not want every single thing the puppy gets… and vice versa. But, for me and my family, it isn’t quite working out the way I hoped. It is a good product. I wish it would’ve worked out better for us. :-) ... show more

    • Addictive recipe, messy execution

The pup loves it, but it’s a logistical mess for humans. The Pros: 1) picky dog likes the chicken recipe! 2) great ring size and easy to hold for 17 week old / 6lb pup. 3) any unchewed parts are solid/hard and doesn’t stain rugs. 4) good 30min distraction for dog. The Cons 1) after the second ring, dog figured out how to break off a piece to eat super quickly. Now within the first five minutes he has broken the ring and goes straight from chewing to just eating. 2) when the ring comes in contact with saliva it gets really really sticky. A mess for humans to pick up by hand. 3) as a dog chews/eats it, little clumps get dislodged everywhere, radioactive yellow colored. Hard to pick up. 4) it gets stuck in pups teeth and palette once in smaller chunks, leading to dog running around the house trying to paw/dislodge by themselves. Kind of like when you bite down on wonder bread and it goes to the roof of your mouth? It’s not painful just annoying. Needs human to actually dislodge it. ... show more

These are great. We have a puppy that is a smaller breed and she loves these as Grether’s. Will keep her occupied for a few hours and they don’t seem to break apart so there is little worry of choking. Would highly recommend!
