I bought this My Little Pony advent calendar for my four-year-old niece for Christmas and oh my, she was in love with it! I had MLP toys in the early 90s and as fads do, this (very cute) one has come back around. My brother sent me videos of her opening the first window to discover a little plastic pony inside and she was over the moon. Every day she looked forward to opening another to collect a new pony. I didn't expect this to be as big of a hit as it was so I was happy to win some more cool aunt points! I'm sure she'll be on a new toy this coming Christmas but for anyone who has a little one in their life who's mad for MLP, this is definitely the best pre-Christmas gift! ... show more

    • What expected but keep laying down
The product was as expected. Small plastic ponies and their pets. My daughter loved and they are pretty durable. Pro Tip: open this thing and store FLAT. She somehow managed to push the cardboard away from the compartments and I had to take the whole thing apart and reload the different days and tape it back together. My biggest issue was with Amazon (the seller) This was purchased as a Black Friday Deal. They changed the delivery date several times and it did not arrive until the 6th or 7th. FOR an ADVENT CALENDAR. Once they got around to shipping it, the item arrived the next day. Not really sure what the hold up was since no explanation was provided. ... show more

    • Bad package design
We are on day 2 and my 6-year-ops couldn't love this more! The first two figurines are very cute. My only issue is that the packaging of the "calendar" is poor. When it arrive, there was a huge bump in the center where all the pieces had fallen. I had to ake it out of the box and try to figure out where each piece fit. After about 10 minutes, I just put them in the best spot I could, so the outer box still has a bulge in a spot or two. We have to keep the box flat so the pieces don't fall out again instead of standing it up on her desk to see the numbered days. ... show more

    • Potty Training Calendar
So I ordered this for December, but it didn’t get here u til December 11th even though I ordered it in November… so I ended up using it as a potty training incentive for my two year old. The doors are really hard to push open for her so I have to do it for her which takes away some of the excitement… there should be a pre punched indent to place your finger in to pull the door open. The toys are okay… I got it on sale for about $20. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it for any more than that. ... show more

This was a great calendar to enjoy with my nieces. The pieces were adorable and colorful and everything was accounted for. The board was interactive in that we matched all of the MLP characters on the board illustration as we opened up the days. I certainly recommend for a special holiday bonding and memory making experience. Some purchasers were complaining about the size of the toys but they're literally the exact pieces shown in the advertising photos- for an advent calendar, it's actually a lot better quality than expected. My calendar didn't have an issue with gapping underneath the surface and the toys all stayed in their desired spaces throughout the month. ... show more

My daughter loves my little pony however these ponies have been somewhat disappointing. I've bought better my little ponies at the dollar tree. My daughter says the eyes are creepy & they are cheapy made i would have found a different manufacturer.
