Because of my body type, I have a hard time breastfeeding without some kind of pillow for support. I use a traditional My Brest Friend pillow at home, but it’s obviously too much to bring out and about. This inflatable one is great - it’s pretty quick and easy to inflate, and I’ve used it multiple times without it popping yet (I’ve always made sure it’s not super duper full once sealed). I expected to be disappointed with this product, but I am extremely satisfied with it. I bought this pillow for a cross-country flight and trip to California and it held up perfectly for the entire duration of the trip. I had no issues with deflation or leaking, and it felt very similar to the original foam version of the product. The air valve makes it SO EASY to inflate, and it takes all but 5 seconds to compress the air out of it for the diaper bag. I used it 30+ times over the course of the week and it is still in perfect condition. The only issue I have with it is the placement of the air valve, which is on the underside right where your leg goes if using it for cross-cradle nursing position. This is slightly inconvenient/uncomfortable, but not a hindrance to use. ... show more

I bought this the day before our flight & let me tell you I love it. It's very comfortable and the perfect size for flying. The fact that it's inflatable was perfect, it tucks away on your carry on just great. My boyfriend suggested to deflate it with the cover still on so you don't have to constantly put the cover back on & that's the best advice. If you inflate it too much it's not as comfortable. Great idea, comfortable to use, POOR QUALITY Original: My wife absolutely loves this, we were carrying a tote bag with pillows in it when she thought about someone should make a portable one. I enjoy using my regular brestfriend around the house so I opted to buy the travel one for the plane. The pillow is not as comfortable as the foam, but the portability is great. I didn’t want to blow up the pillow with my mouth, so I used a manual balloon hand pump. It was a little difficult to pump because I had to hold the pump and cover the inflation area to pump. I recommend this as a must-have item for any breastfeeding mom. However, there are some quality issues with this item. The first pillow I bought had a seam open up causing it to deflate. The second one I bought, the cover came with an inch sized hole in a seam close to the zipper. Because I love the function of the inflatable pillow, I am keeping it since it is still usable even with the hole in the fabric. I've used this pillow in the car for parking lot feeds, on an airplane, at the beach, etc., and it has made it so much more comfortable. This thing was the single most amazing thing I brought on our trip to Europe. My baby slept the entire first 8 hours and then on the second leg of the flight he was just as easy to put down. I could even feed him hands free because this thing is so nice and wide! Love that it’s inflatable too.

We used this to breastfeed our little one on the when our flight was ascending and descending to help their little ears pop with the cabin air pressure changes. We have the regular pillow at home and this works just as well. It was very useful to him to have somewhere to lay in my arms during the flight too without making my arms sore. I read some reviews that mentioned the item didn’t last and leaked for some people so I only inflated it about 75% and it was perfect—not to soft and not too stiff. As the cabin air pressure changed, I noticed it got more full so I let out some air midway through the flight.
