  • My First 'My Arcade' Portable
Style: Atari
This is my first product from My Arcade. I went with the Atari portable because there's a decent number of games included and first impressions? For what it is, not bad. It feels nice to hold, the games play well, the sound is solid, the screen is actually alright for this little guy, and for the money, it's a good value for what you're getting. While I'm not nostalgic for Atari seeing how the year I was born, the original company was long dead, their games do have charm. One of my favorites is Missile Command and I even managed to score 43,855. The picture may not be in the best light seeing how I was playing the game at night, but still. My only complaint with the device is that this thing doesn't feature rechargeable batteries. Having a USB-C port and being able to play the system with it plugged in to something is nice, but meh. ... show more

  • Great little game system
Style: Atari
Works great. A small version of the actual arcade game. Graphics and sound are perfect. Controls work great short of an actual joystick.

  • good for the price
Style: Atari
now mine did arrive damaged but to be fair it might have been from delivery so i wont blame it on the actual product but i do need to say there are some design flaws like the battery compartment being a pain in the a to open. the part that broke was the brightness adjuster which isnt the end of the world and its still playable the actual d pad is pretty good honestly the buttons are a little meshy for my taste but for the price what do you expect you know. has a lot of classic games including some bonus. overall i think its pretty good ... show more

  • Mediocre but the Best You Can Find
Style: Tetris
Classic Tetris love. Colorful, fun display. However, the playing field is like 1:2 aspect ratio, and the screen is 4:3. So the actual Tetris board takes up a tiny 25% of the screen, and rest is wasted real estate. I know they want to mass produce and reuse the plastic shells and screens. (This is probably the same Chinese LCD screen that used to be in older cell phones.) But it would have been much better to rotate the screen 90° and tweak the programming to accommodate. But it's better than the 1,000,000 in 1 bootleg handhelds or using a Game Boy for one game. ... show more

  • Flash back in time! Lots of fun!
Style: Galaga
I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas at the last minute because when I was wrapping a couple days before Christmas, I realized she needed one more gift. The funny part was her uncles were in their 20s couldn’t wait to get their hands on this and they said they both wanted one. Took them back to when they were kids, heck it took me back to when I was a kid and I am not in my 20s. A lot of fun, it would be perfect for car rides and vacations or taking on a plane to keep a child or adult occupied. Throw one in your travel bag. ... show more

  • Screen is Way to Small
Style: Tetris
I bought this new Tetris game to replace an old one from the late 90s. the new one had what seemed better controls, and the screen was not in color. The new one was very disappointing. The actual game screen is almost micro-small... more than half the size of the old game. My wife is who play most, and she also pointed out that the controls are not accurate... moving pieces don't always go where they are directed, which, for anyone who plays Tetris knows that screws up the game. She tries to use the new game... but ends up using the old one over 90% of the time. I can't recommend this product. ... show more

  • Does NOT work with rechargeable batteries
Style: Atari
EDIT: I dropped my review to 1 star; the company received both my returns but refused to issue a refund. I got it sorted out through Amazon. Nowhere on the product site or in the included instructions does it mention this, but these things DO NOT WORK with rechargeable AA batteries. I thought my first unit was defective so I ordered a replacement, and after trying two different brands of rechargeable batteries neither console would power on. This is a huge deal breaker for me, especially because I bought an extra set of batteries just for this thing. I'll be sending the second one back and requesting a refund. I played through the games under USB power while I was waiting for the replacement. If the thing could operate using rechargeable batteries I'd probably give it 4 stars. Paddle-based games like Breakout don't work as well on a D pad, though. If the battery thing doesn't bother you, I'd say this console is worth the money. ... show more

  • Retro fun handheld full of classic Atari games.
Style: Atari
The media could not be loaded. A great handheld full of classic Atari games. Has a very nice screen and d-pad. The games play great and are true to the classic Atari 2600. Also has some non-Atari bonus games.
