  • Awesome product!!

3 month update: - Drop test has been done by my toddler a few times, and it has come out without a scratch. - Taking it off is not a hassle if you follow the directions. Taking it off has not caused any kind of damage to my switch. - The plastic back is surprisingly very scratch resistant, and the rubber is still perfect. This console is used daily. - Very little dust and debris get through the case. - Very easy to clean if need be. Just rinse with some water and let it dry, or dry it off on your own. - My toddler can hold it just fine. - I have small/medium hands, and still no cramping. - A screen protector will work with this case on if it is applied properly. We have a gorilla glass type protector, and it doesn't rub against it. - It has fit in a regular size travel case. I still plan on getting the Mumba Travel Case. - I absolutely love this case, I recommend it to everyone if they are looking for great protection. I can't say enough good things about this case. It is absolutely the best purchase (accessory wise) that I've made for my switch. My first review: I watched many YouTube reviews about Nintendo Switch cases before I settled on this one. I am so glad I did. It is a very sturdy case, and the grip on the back is awesome. Unlike other people, I don't get hand cramps holding it in handheld mode. This case does add some extra comfort which is great. I was looking for something "toddler proof" and this is perfect. The cut outs are great, one of them is a tab bit off center, but it's hardly noticeable. There is no cutout for the kickstand, so if that is a must on your list, this isn't the case for you. I for one, hardly use the kickstand so it being covered is fine with me. I have yet to take it off. I know people are having problems with taking it off, but I followed the directions putting it on. I'm sure if I follow the directions taking it off, I'll have no problems. The case does add some weight, but it is a very protective case. Most good, protective cases will add a bit of weight. I figured it would add some when I bought it, and honestly, it hasn't bothered me a bit. It has yet to be drop tested, but I'm sure it will prove that it is protective once the inevitable happens. As of right now, I have nothing but good things to say about this case. I can't wait to purchase the Mumba Hardshell Carrying Case for the Switch. ... show more

  • Best feeling and looking case. The low price is just a plus.
Color: Black
If you like spigen cases on phones this would be comparable. The case is pretty simple to install. Its a little stiff at first so I found the best way to put it in was the bottom first then apply pressure to the top of the switch to pop the rest of it in. The nintendo switch on its own doesnt have great build quality and feels kind of flimsy where the joycons slide in so the case really helps make it all feel solid. Ports are aligned well and are pretty big in case anyone was wondering if they would support third party connectors like headphone jacks and other non-nintendo type-c cables. I havent dropped it yet but the thickness of the case seems like it'll hold. I would still recommend getting a glass screen protector just in case. It does have a lip in the front to protect the screen but its pretty minimal for the most part. Behind the area around the joycons it has a suble convex look to it and helps ALOT with preventing your hands from cramping like they usually do after playing handheld on the naked switch. The only negative aspect is that its pretty annoying that it wont fit in the dock unless your remove the case every time but thats pretty much implied with all nintendo switch cases, obviously lol. It hasnt shown any significant wear and tear yet other than a couple expected scratches. Its still able to keep its shape and form after taking it off and putting it back on at least twice a day for me. Would recommend this to anyone ... show more

  • Great case.
Color: Black
Just what we needed, especially when we’re constantly taking it our switch with us on trips. Unfortunately not dockable but it’s all good since it’s easy to remove and put back on.

  • No easier to hold than without a case, but very durable and sturdy
Color: Black
Still gives me the same type of hand cramps when I try to use the D-Pad as I get when not using a case. The case itself is really durable, easy to put on, and very sturdy (as in the console doesn't shift around in the case during use, which has been problematic with other switch cases/grips that I've purchased). Get this if damage control is your top priority. While it is slightly more comfortable to hold, it doesn't help alleviate the problems with the Joycon's awkward D-Pad button placement. You'll need something with extended handles in the grip if your looking to solve thumb cramps. One minor problem, which isn't at all the fault of the product, is that the third party HORI Joycon with a traditional D-Pad does not fit within the case without needing to make modifications. This is due to a bizarre design choice by HORI - the problem being: on the backside of the HORI joycon, the button that's used to unlock the Joycon (for sliding it off) is sitting on an elevated mound of plastic (otherwise the outer mold of the joycon is almost identical to the original if not slightly thicker by less than a millimeter) - anyway, the plastic protrusion makes it so that the Joycon is unable to lay flat within the case. DYI solution... I took a hacksaw to the case and cut out a small notch on the upper left side (right where the disengage button is) so that HORI's Joycon's stupid little bump of plastic has a hole to sit in. ... show more
