  • Really wish I would have found this product sooner
Size: 0.5 Gallon
I replaced a few areas of landscaping with rubber mulch. I like the look and that I would not have to buy 50 bags of mulch every year. However, blowing leaves and debris is a pain, if you do not want rubber nuggets in the yard and driveway. If I point my leaf blower straight down and at about half speed, it will remove the debris/leaves and keep the mulch in place. However, I will still have to hand pick some debris out of the mulch. I stumbled upon this product after watching a video. The binder is ready to go out of the carton. One just has to spray it on and let it set. Only issues is that I did this as leaves were starting to fall, and I had a few fall before the glue had completely set. My fault, not the product. Great item. ... show more

  • Works on river rocks
Size: 0.5 Gallon
This set is nice as that it comes premixed and in a sprayer bottle. Sprayer worked great and sprayed pretty evenly. Did frost the rocks a bit but nothing very noticeable.

  • It Works!
Size: 0.5 Gallon
This was my first experience using mulch glue so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've been told by several friends that this stuff (from the box stores) doesn't really work but I decided to see for myself. I'm glad that I did because this stuff works great! I applied to a walkway lined with red mulch following the included instructions. I'm happy to report that several months later the mulch is still locked into place with essentially zero washout, despite several bouts of heavy wind and rain. The bottles are great in terms of size and the included sprayers function as intended. No issues whatsoever with the product, highly recommend! ... show more

  • It sticks
Size: 0.5 Gallon
Hard to fully test this in winter. However, in sampling it, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Spraying it with some water didn't affect the adhesion. Will have to update after having some sun exposure but can't wait to fully apply this in spring.

  • Sticky better to use multiple finer coats
Size: 0.5 Gallon
Seems better to spray multiple thin layers as to not get too much buildup. Works as advertised for decoration

  • Holds down my mulch great
Size: 0.5 Gallon
Tried out this half-gallon of mulch glue for my backyard landscaping project, and I must say, it did the job surprisingly well. The consistency was easy to work with, not too thick or runny, and it dried clear, giving the mulch a natural look. It held up even after a couple of heavy rainstorms, so it seems like a reliable solution for keeping things in place without much hassle. ... show more

  • need dry weather, let cure, spray again. Saves $ on mulching
Size: 0.5 Gallon
All the trees in my yard were planted with the root balls slightly above the ground, so we have a problem with even a light mulch layer around trunks continually washing away into the grass and leaving the top of the root ball baren while making a mess and making surrounding grass sparse too. I read the directions for this one and other similar products before using, so I knew I had to wait for a period where the outdoor temp was supposed to be above 50 degrees and not rain for a few days. I sprayed on a light layer of this glue on the mulch, let dry a day, and then sprayed again and let dry before any rain. One coat is not enough, thin layers were needed. Now there's less mulch sliding off the root ball. Although this was a multi-step process, so is having to keep re-mulching and then reseeding grass, so the time and expense of using this "gluve" seems much less than that of having to add heavy bags of mulch every few months.I like that his mulch glue comes with the spray attachment to make it easier to apply. The real test will be how well this holds up over winter. If it noticeably reduces mulch-runoff and mulch rework, I'll apply it around the rest of my muched beds too. Hopefully this coating won't significantly reduce the rain the tree gets. I hope to update this review in the spring with the longer term results. So far, I have reason to be hopeful. ... show more

  • Worked well for pea gravel entry
Size: 0.5 Gallon
I have tried a couple of brands of mulch glue and I haven’t found one that can work with 1 or 2 applications or without repeating before a couple of months. However, this did work well to stabilize pea gravel on an entry walkway, was easy to see where it had been applied, and the spray applicator worked well if using it on a smaller surface. The applicator does require squeezing motion (similar to nozzles on other cleaner bottles) so your hand will get tired/crampy if larger area. We applied it to an area where the pea gravel was thicker and it did not do as well with binding those areas even after 2 applications. I do find that this type of product can help reduce loss of mulch or gravel from weather and walking. ... show more
