I haven’t tried washing it yet, but it looks brand new again every time I’ve vacuumed it. I put the rug in the nursery as it's machine washable (though not tested yet) and my older kids are always asking to stand and lie down on it due to its softness. I was looking for a very muted pale pink rug - almost like a beige pink with some pale grey in it. However, this rug has much brighter colors in it and the pink isn't a muted beigey pink. I wanted a rug more like the one in the first photograph. This has a bunch of different colors in it too - some teal, purple, maroon, brown etc. Having said that, I knew I was taking a risk by buying it off of Amazon and not seeing it in person. Overall it's a very nice rug - pretty, very soft and has rubber backing so it doesn't slip. There was a crease where it was folded, but I put some heavy books on top of it and it was gone in a day. This rug is super soft. Color is great. It is thin but not uncomfortable thin. The quality seems good. Not sure if I'll truly be able to fit the 8x10 rug in my washer, but will find out in due time. Would definitely buy something similar again.

Just received and laid out rug, no weird smell so that’s a plus! The rug is beautiful and soft to the touch. The underside is not a stiff backing it’s very flexible but does not slip.I got the green one and the colors in this are grey, tan, pink, cream, baby blue and green. I can’t speak on the washable feature as I haven’t done that yet. I could see how you can easily throw a smaller one in the washer though, I don’t think the 8x10 would fit.
