  • Nice smooth fine ball point pen
writes well. Feels good in the hand as it is shaped like a traditional pencil. smooth fine line which is not common in a ball point pen

  • Great feeling pen
Great aluminum pen. Been using mine for years. Muji doesn’t offer refills. Whenever my ink gets low, I visit Muji and switch my used ink cartridge out with a new one in the wood gripped hex pens they sell. Not sorry about it. Not tossing the pen because Muji won’t make refills.

  • Ballpoint pen, not gel pen
This is a lovely pen, but be aware this is a ballpoint pen, NOT a gel pen. If you're looking for a pen that's compatible with G2, EnerGel, Signo, or MUJI's own gel refills, this pen is not what you want. MUJI did make a very similar hexagonal aluminum gel pen, but this is not that pen. If you're in the market for a ballpoint, this is a nice pen. It looks like refills for this pen are no longer available from MUJI, so longevity could be an issue. Currently I see MUJI refills on eBay for $4.00 each. However, it looks like the OHTO 895NP and 897NP could work on this pen, but I haven't tried them. Those are available on Amazon at $5 each, and from JetPens at $2 each. Your choice. :) ... show more

  • Expensive shipping.
Expensive shipping. Hopefully worth it. Read somewhere it can use Pentel refills, nice.
