    • Professional level device, use caution as it can change auto settings.
* Overall Impression: -This is a good value for a very nice, high quality, professional level auto scanning, diagnostic device with bidirectional communication. It doesn't just read the auto codes and do scans, it can adjust some auto settings as well and the features are professional level and grade. -Be careful and use caution, as it is a professional level device, you want to be very careful what you reset when using this. Read the instructions well and be sure you know what you are adjusting. You have several levels of menus to get to to reset, so you you won't automatically or accidentally rest easily. But still be very careful during use. You’ll want to learn to use it before linking it to your vehicle and get familiar with the menus, options and operations before linking. -It costs more than simpler scanners that don't have the bidirectional communication and professional level settings and capabilities, but those features are why it costs more and is worth it. This has capabilities that some scanners that just read codes do not have. It's professional level and grade. * Pros-what I liked and what worked well: -Good value for the quality and professional level, grade, features and options of the device. -Comes in a nice semi-rigid, cloth covered, zipper closure storage case that holds the device and accessories well and has a carrying handle. The case has case compartments for easy storage and items fit well. It gives good protection of the screen and device during travel and storage. -It's about the size of a small to medium sized tablet and has a very sturdy case that's like a very tough, hard tablet case. It's large, a little heavy and bulky but in a sturdy case. It has a built in hand grip on the side making it easy to hold. It's easy to hold in one hand and use your other hand on the screen. -USB rechargeable with an included USB charging cable. You'll need your own USB friendly electrical plug in or USB charging source. It shows the charge level on the screen. -Bluetooth communication from the device to the adapter that you use in your vehicle's port. It's wireless, you don't have to sit with a cord attached and can move around with it outside the vehicle. -Touch screen like a tablet and touch screen menus, sub-menus and operation. Clear, bright large touchscreen. It has a lot of menus and options within the menus and is well designed and fairly intuitive to use. -Multi-directional capability. It doesn't just read or scan the vehicle, it can be used to make adjustments to the vehicle and communicate with it. -WiFi setup to link to your own WiFi so it can update and work over WiFi. -Easy to update in the menu. It updates over WiFi, you won't need to USB update it yourself or install software, just use the menu to update over WiFi. -OEM, all systems. -ECU Coding. -28+ reset services. (They are listed in the listing picture and include: oil reset, brake reset, seat reset.) -102+ vehicle makes. I'm not sure if this means you have to re-license or buy a new update or license in 2027 or if it means that it won't get any updates after 2027. This wasn’t really clear. * Tips & Thoughts: -Remember that this is a professional level device, it does have the capability to change, adjust and reset settings in your vehicle. Be very careful when using the device and be sure you read the directions carefully so you don't adjust something you don't want or need to adjust or change. And don’t leave it unsupervised and connected to your vehicle around children who could access it, so that they don’t change settings you don’t want changed. -You should update it in the menus before initial use or before general use. I would do this before use and without the connection made to the vehicle. I'd want to update it before connecting it to the vehicle.
