Description

The Msr snowshoe bag accommodates a pair of snowshoes up to 25 inches in length and includes an internal sleeve for a pair of Msr modular Floatation tails (sold separately). The snowshoe bag is built from extra tough Fabric to protect snowshoes and includes easy-carry hand and shoulder straps for multiple carrying options. Convenient external hook and loop tabs will secure a pair of snowshoe poles (sold separately). Designed with mesh panel and drain grommet to maximize ventilation for long-term snowshoe storage. Weight 12 ounces. Manufacturer's three-year limited .

Love this bag! MSR makes some good products, in general, and this looked like the most practical and best quality bag of all the ones I searched. Wasn't disappointed. It's got a shoulder strap but also a nice carrying handle with a round plastic piece around the nylon so it's comfortable in the hand and easy to carry. It's got a pair of bungee straps on the bottoms for your poles. It's got a mesh side panel so your shoes can dry out. And it's also got a small zippered compartment to put miscellaneous stuff (put my pole tips & warranty in there). It fits my pair of 22" snowshoes very easily with room to spare. I'm sure it would easily accommodate 25". Not so sure about larger. The material is nice, thick and sturdy. Have a feeling this will last me a long time. Also, love the dark gray color with maroon accents. Just overall a quality product. ... show more

    • Nice bag but slightly spendy.
This bag is well made with a decent thickness of canvas like material that has a synthetic water resistant coating on some of the inside. The bag fits 25" MSR snowshoes closely with room for extension tails as described. Easily also fits a set of folding trekking poles inside and even some thin gaiters. Longer two or three section poles can be lashed on the outside straps as well. For the price, I was hoping for a bit thicker material and padding so I can stack gear without worry the shoes teeth pokes through. The fabric is not thin by any means, but you can still feel the teeth if you press hard. Most likely stacking gear will be fine and the bag will probably hold up nicely. The handle and carry strap also seem durable, but not exactly top comfort. Overall, if I had paid 25-30 I'd rate 5 stars. Since I paid nearly 40, I'd say 4 stars for value. ... show more

    • Why isn't the material waterproof? Gets wet and soaks through in your car.
Its good for carrying your snowshoes in but how about making it waterproof? It gets all wet and leaks because the material is not water proof. Why would they not make it waterproof? Don't understand that. So for me its not the end all bag for my snowshoes because I need to put something else around it to keep the water in. ... show more

Appears to be a high quality product. It's too bad that MSR doesn't make one long enough for my 30" MSR Lightning Ascents to fit in. Amazon offered this bag as a suggested accessory when I ordered the snowshoes, I just assumed it was designed for the shoes. Had to return and order a larger Tubb brand bag. ... show more

I received and returned the bag. My 25” Lightning Explores were too close of a fit for ease of use. Seems it should be easy to get them in and out otherwise you won’t use it. Also what’s the point of having a bag to keep your expensive snowshoes nice when they’re jammed into a tight bag with nothing separating the 2 shoes. Maybe I should’ve ordered 2. Others described the material as thick, seems pretty thin and light. Love the snowshoes, disliked the bag. ... show more

Just what I needed! Tired of the inconvenience of hauling my MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes around without the proper protection for the snowshoes themselves or the interior of my car. Wish they provided additional pictures of the other options this bag has to offer including: A zip up pouch on the front, a sleeve on the inside of the front cover and two other sleeves to store snowshoe tail add-ons.     • Very well made, but a bit small
Just got snowshoes for the first time and was not convinced I needed a bag. But the edges on the bottom are pretty sharp, so I decided to get this. One reviewer said a 25inch snowshoe would not fit in the bag. I have MSR snowshoes and the bag is made by MSR, so I thought it would be fine. But, it is a tight fit! This bag is a little pricey, but decided to go for it since it’s made specifically for my MSR Evo snowshoes. It’s a great bag, very well made, and very comfortable when slinging your snowshoes on your back! Also has bungee cords for attaching your trekking poles.
