I’ve been looking for shorts that go to or past my knees and are 100 percent cotton. I’m 5’3 and weigh 125 and the medium fit perfectly. I washed and dried them on warm to soften them because they are a little stiff and that helps. They are a rugged pair of shorts. The draw string is like a very thick and soft white shoe lace and is sturdy and easy to cinch. It’s still winter in California, and I’ve worn them already. I bought army green, beige and black. I'm sure it was my fault but they appear to be a jersey type cotton but its not. They have no stretch they are more a stiff dressy type cotton
