This is such a cool product. I have a bearded dragon. This material is perfect for him! Easy to clean and not harmful to him or damaging to his claws. It was so easy to cut. There was enough to have 2 full pieces so we can swap one out when cleaning his tank. I'm so glad I came across this product.

    • Quick and easy
I got this for a quick solution for our bearded dragon. When we got him, the enclosure already came with a substrate that was some kind of material with rough sand glued onto it. It was not easy to clean and absorbed waste material. This mat was easy to measure, cut, and place in the enclosure. I've cleaned it up several times, both spot cleaning with vinegar water and paper towels, as well as removing it from the enclosure and washing it in the sink. We may end up going a different route for substrate...possibly slate...but for the time being this is working wonderfully well. It is very easy to clean and also has a texture which our bearded dragon seems to find satisfactory. The texture gives him some grip as well, so he's not sliding around. ... show more

I ordered the small roll which is actually a lot, great appearance & super easy to clean, just wipe it. Definitely worth getting for anyone that has lizard pets. Easy to cut for perfect fit. Safe for my leapard gecko, allows appropriate temp throughout the cage. Highly recommend.

It's definitely saved me some money already from buying substrate and paper towels. You will get crunchy sound from it but it doesn't bother me. Its only when they move around. It's worth the money.     • Thin and rough.
Originally purchased this to replace hard to clean sand and other substrate. While it's nice to be able to wipe the surface down, it's thinner than I expected (although upon further review of the photos they are not misleading) and it does not sit flat on the glass. I had to strategically place my lizard decor to weigh down the corners and double stick some of the places where I didn't have anything to do so. This in turn will make it harder to remove to do a full clean out. It also has a very rough surface, which is great for lizards, but it does make it hard to wipe up their poop and it gets a nice white dust from the calcium that remains even after surface cleaning. Lizards are happy, and I'm happier with this than the substrate. It's a bit of a pain, but easier. ... show more

I used to use newspaper for my terrarium as it was easy to clean but my beardie always would shred it and it wasn’t eye appealing. I switched to this and I love it. My beardie scratches it without it shredding. I take it out and hose it down for cleaning.

Bought for a bearded dragon cage.Its easy to cut to size and place.I used small rocks and things already placed to hold corners down.Love that i can just use a paper towel to clean up and a damp one if needed.Previous liner was a fabric type that absorbed everything wet that went on it so it got nasty quick and wasnt easy to wash.This so far works amazing. ... show more
