I heard from the vendor a few days after receiving. The message was very assuring: it showed they pay attention to reviews and criticisms, as they provided some worthwhile notes of awareness (i.e. warned that there would be a rubbery smell after opening but it DOES quickly dissipate - they were right) and expressed desire to ensure I was pleased with the product. I wanted to use it for at least a week before reviewing, and here are my thoughts: - Good price point for what it offers/does - Great wrist rest & support, not too thick or high-sitting - The material is very comfortable - The underside material is GREAT. I replaced a mousepad with rubbery material that rubbed off on my desk, and it almost seemed to melt onto the desk surface & was nasty to scrape off. The material used on this mousepad has me confident that it will last a long time without doing the same thing: it STAYS IN PLACE when you want it to and "unsticks" from desk surface w/o leaving any sort of residue or material behind. I will be interested to see how long the gel pack for the wrist support lasts. But it also seems the retailer backs it so if it should fail they will replace as long as there's no signs of deliberate misuse. This was a good buy. ... show more

I looked around the local stores and grabbed then when I saw them. They do not wear quickly which is awesome. They look good and the wrist support is really good. I don't have red spots on my wrists from pressure points now. My mouse scan just fine on them. They can also be washed and you can leave them to dry. They look good as new. Some people might have issues with them sliding a little while gaming. I use photo software and they stick well for that work. I only received the pad a day ago but there is a deep crease in the middle of the pad. hoping it flattens out quickly but may have to return it if it doesn't. Otherwise quality is just ok. edges are not straight. just seems like the quality control is not there. UPDATE- the crease is gone so increased rating to 4. This is the second time I bought one of these. I find them very comfortable and fairly durable. I use it five days a week at my work desk. I start to notice it breaking down after a year or so. For the cost, I guess I’m good with that value.
