I liked the tip of the pens. They write like more expensive fine-tip pens. Good, sharp, dark lines. No skipping. Only issue is they are just too skinny to be really comfortable. They are triangular instead of round, which helps, but I have bigger hands, so they have a flimsy feel to them. Great for situations where you want your nice writing pen, buy don't really mind losing them. I put them on my desk for customers and coworkers can use them. ... show more

This is the very first time I am dissatisfied with Mr. Pen. I was so excited to get a whole pack of these black pens & started a new 5x7 drawing. I sectioned the page out in fifths & filled in the top fifth. My pen ran out of ink 😫. The other one had no ink. I’m dreading trying the rest, but I will. Later. I’m using a different brand of pen to get the job done. No time to pray the pen will work. I’m disappointed in you, Mr. Pen. Ok. So I set down my drawing & pen for a couple days. I picked it back up today with the same pen that I thought was done. The pen worked! Maybe they just need a break after awhile? Idk. I will by these again. ... show more

The pens are nice and write well - the ones that worked at least. Right off the bat, 3 of the pens were dried out and did not work. Then, 2 broke. Could be a bad batch. I originally rated this a 1-star: The red and light green were dried out. The middle pink (shade between pink and purple) broken completely apart when I tried to open the cap. I'm really bummed the great low price didn't result in a usable set. The caps are really hard to remove (fit too tight) and the edges on some are rough. Maybe poor quality control. I've ordered other products from Mr. Pen and really liked them so I'm super sad about these. I updated my rating to 3 stars: The customer service was great and they offered to refund or replace the item. I really wanted a set of pens so I asked them to replace it. The second set took a little while to arrive but the set was good except for a dried out red. Maybe they had some issue that affected a bulk of reds. Anyway for the low price and great service I upped it to 3 stars, you get what you pay for and 20 good pens from 24 total pens feels fair. ... show more

It is hard to get the top off and one pen’s top broke off. When I wrote 60 postcards with it, it never ran out of ink and made fine smooth lines. I love writing with it.
