    • Works as advertised for ink jet use with a few minor hiccups

No complaints with the label themselves, worked as advertised. Took ink well and while not a sharp as using glossy photo paper, the results were acceptable for my requirements. The only issue I had was that these are obviously heavy compared to plain paper and probably slightly heavier than glossy photo paper. The feeder of my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 had trouble feeding the paper out of the tray... and unfortunately that model has no manual feed option. After setting the printer to "heavy paper" and trying 4 or 5 times, eventually it grabbed the sheet and I was on my way. I won't deduct any stars for this issue, as I fully blame the printer... But just something to keep in mind. NOTE: Ink jet inks are typically NOT waterproof. If the ink runs when getting wet, the issue is not with these labels. If you want your project to be waterproof, you'll need a clear coat of some kind. For my last project, I used Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel, sold at your local hardware store in a spray can. This is a glossy clear coat, although I am sure there are plenty of different finishes and brands available that will get you the waterproof look you are after. ... show more

Really happy with how good these labels take inkjet ink, as well as allowing the material to be sprayed with clear spray paint to "weather-proof" the ink. I used these to create some stickers for my truck. I put these on some magnetic sheets, so I can remove them as needed. Very pleased with the results. Link to magnets I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079NK1748/ Update: 2021-02-28: After almost a year of being exposed to the elements, many of these labels have started to peel up. Granted, they have been stuck on my truck (rain, sun, road grime, etc). The "weather proofing" proved to be unnecessary and actually made the stickers look bad when it started to yellow. Fortunately, when the paint wears away the vinyl still looks good as new (and the lettering is still fine). I was able to get the stickers to adhere to the magnetic backing again by brushing on some watered down gorilla glue and placing some weight on them overnight Still very happy with these and would highly recommend them. ... show more

as a start-up I am not ready to order 2,000 labels of each through a professional printing company (to get the best price). So I ordered these and am totally impressed. I use them for my tinctures and other oil product labels. Also for my capsule labels. Great adhesion, even when the oil drips onto the labels. Great colorfastness as well. Very white. these are not paper labels. They're more of some type of vinyl. I misprinted a page of labels so I use these misprints as tape to hold things together or closed. Seriously, the material does not tear easily at all. I will be using these labels until I'm ready to go professional. Be careful because there is nothing printed on the back so when you're first using them, it can be difficult to tell the label from the backing so you may (like i did) print a page one the wrong side. ... show more

Contrary to what other say, the paper and glue is indeed waterproof. You do need to use a waterproof ink - I would have thought this is obvious, but whatever. It's like complaining that rain comes in your sunroof when it's open. If you are using inkjet, I would think an art spray would protect the ink. This is a surprisingly high quality product. The stickers themselves are some sort of plastic or vinyl so they don't tear. Once it sticks, it's stuck. So stick it right the first time. ... show more

I love these labels!. I've tried the special shaped variations from Mr Labels but I'm now using sheets exclusively. I print just the size labels I need and can print multiple labels of varying sizes and not have to waste paper. The printable side has a nice, smooth texture that feel soft and inviting. They stick on smooth, clean surfaces really well and hold up well under wet conditions. I have purchased the sheets many times over the past several years because I know I can get a good product that works well with my printer. BUT, the only negative I could say about these labels is that over time the vinyl side starts to shrink and starts to pull away from the paper backing. Worse yet, I have had to replace many of my labels due to them lifting and starting to pull away from the product (see pics). We it not for this reason, I would give this a perfect review and 10 stars if I could. However, I have to find a product I can trust to stay on my products. Because if it's happening on my products then it's happening on my client's products. That is not the level of professionalism with which I would want to be associated. Fix that one issue and I will be back 100%. ... show more

I have purchased this adhesive paper twice. And I really like it. I use it to make wine labels. It is a matte finish and black labels look beautiful and don't smudge, as I've read about other labels. I've used both inkjet and laser printers and I'm very satisfied with both. I accidentally dropped about a dime-size bead of water on a black inkjet printed label, and it did no damage to the ink. My inkjet printer is the HP ENVY 4520, and I had it on the premium printing setting. The surface is smooth enough that it takes gold foil very beautifully, using the laser print and laminator technique. They are very sticky and I don't think you can reposition once it's in place, at least I couldn't on a wine bottle, not without damaging the label. They are a little pricey. I'm going to reorder, but the larger size (25 sheets). That way, I will get an extra 5 sheets for the price I paid ordering the 10 sheets on two separate occasions. I wish they were available in bulk at a better price!!! ... show more
