    • Decent coffee maker
Nice looking, and easy to use. Brews a decent cup and keeps it hot. Arrived on time and early. I would recommend running 3-4 pots of water through before actually brewing coffee, as the plastic smell is noticeable.

    • Lasted less than a year, But Customer Service great!
I liked the coffee pot while it was working, but it did not last a year. Unfortunately, I was unable to file on the year warranty as I trashed the pot when it stopped working not knowing that to file on the warranty I needed it. The warranty form asks questions that you have to answer directly from the coffee pot. The online form will not allow you to leave blanks. UPDATE: I went online to the manufacturer and told them what happened. I provided proof of purchase receipt. Since I was still within the year warranty time frame, I received a new coffee pot.     • In the era of smart-everything, simple is better.
The classic design cannot be beat. I have been putting this machine through it's paces for 6 years, and it has not disappointed. It is easy to use and nigh indestructible. I purchased it because my last coffee maker was digitally controlled. Well, when the chip started to go, it wouldn't even stay turned on to brew. This machine, without the digital control, just turns on, and then brews. One downside; it is a little tricky to clean the reservoir. However, a little bit of white vinegar run through once or twice every few months keeps the internal pumps clean and the coffee tasting good. Seriously, this has been one of the best appliance purchases I have ever made. The easy design also makes it super easy to self-repair. Some coffee grounds got into the pump, ruining the machine. I was able to easily repair it in an hour myself. In a world where everything breaks immediately and cannot be repaired, I found this ability to be a massive plus! ... show more

    • For us, this is the best coffee maker
After a couple of years of constant use, our Mr. Coffee still worked, but we couldn’t turn the button off—better safe than sorry, we decided it was time for a new coffee maker. We ordered another brand because it was cheaper and found so many things about it that we did not like. So we are returning that coffee maker, and we bought another Mr. Coffee. Just love this coffee maker. Easy to fill, easy to clean, doesn’t leak all over the place. So much easier to fill from the top than pulling a basket out from the side; side baskets also leak all over the counter. We just enjoy the great coffee and the simple but perfectly functional design of this machine. It may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but we start every day with delicious coffee. Zero stars is my vote, but you know how that goes. This simple Mr. Coffee maker is big, tall, clunky and constantly wet. Pause and serve? Uh, no. More like pause, keep dripping on the hot plate, serve, wipe up, put back. There is no auto shut off feature and the hot plate is not hot enough. The basket is black, the water swing arm is cheap, thin, lightweight plastic and if you put more than 4 well rounded scoops of coffee in it, you get grounds in the pot. If you like strong coffee, look elsewhere. What a waste of money. Mr. Coffee is actually Mr. Cråppy. ... show more
