After a couple of years of constant use, our Mr. Coffee still worked, but we couldn’t turn the button off—better safe than sorry, we decided it was time for a new coffee maker. We ordered another brand because it was cheaper and found so many things about it that we did not like. So we are returning that coffee maker, and we bought another Mr. Coffee. Just love this coffee maker. Easy to fill, easy to clean, doesn’t leak all over the place. So much easier to fill from the top than pulling a basket out from the side; side baskets also leak all over the counter. We just enjoy the great coffee and the simple but perfectly functional design of this machine. It may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but we start every day with delicious coffee.     • It works and it has a reasonable price
It works fine. Makes a good cup of coffee. And the price is reasonable. So, if it goes belly up in a few years, that's ok. I had a good coffee maker that cost a bundle and was WiFi and all that (I used the WiFi exactly 3 times) and after 3 years it went belly up. One morning it was working fine and the next day, the clock was biinking and nothing else was working. ... show more

    • Finally I found the right coffee maker...but for one thing
The Mr. Coffee machine is very good. Easier to use that several others I checked out. I'm very happy with it, but I do have a gripe. It was a returned unit. No damage or dirt but for $40 and no mention of it having been returned, I thought the price should have been reduced.

    • Lasted less than a year, But Customer Service great!
I liked the coffee pot while it was working, but it did not last a year. Unfortunately, I was unable to file on the year warranty as I trashed the pot when it stopped working not knowing that to file on the warranty I needed it. The warranty form asks questions that you have to answer directly from the coffee pot. The online form will not allow you to leave blanks. UPDATE: I went online to the manufacturer and told them what happened. I provided proof of purchase receipt. Since I was still within the year warranty time frame, I received a new coffee pot. I bought this for my parents as a replacement for their other one that lasted for a few years. They like how simple and easy it is to use and to clean. Very good value for the price. I will definitely buy again when they need a new one.

    • Mr Coffee Maker With No Automatic Functions
I love Mr Coffee makers but was looking for a white color with silver trim. When I saw this one I was Excited to order. I should have read the description but since I have had Mr Coffee Pots in the past I didn’t feel I needed to. Big mistake on my part. The coffee pot is simple with NO functions on it! This pot does not have an automatic shut off after two hours. I find that not having an automatic shut off could result in a very dangerous situation possibly causing a fire in your home. I am surprised that this pot is even allowed to be Purchased. I put this pot in the garbage can so no one hopefully would use it. Very disappointed in Mr Coffee on this one. I don’t recommend this model but love the more functional ones Mr Coffee makes. Unfortunately they are mostly sold in a black color so I had to choose a different company. ... show more
