It needed different sizes for different parts. It didn't come with decent instructions. It's cheap enough I guess, but not really something that's easy and effective (I'm not even sure how - it's on my prius - it will actually hold racks).

This product is well constructed and great that it came with different size clamps to fit your vehicle, the only problem was it came with no directions so it was a little challenging putting it together by looking at the pictures Amazon provides

I didn't have much problem installing these, the instructions were decent. However, the product itself is NO GOOD. First the locks on the end were hard to get and keep in place and they serve absolutely no purpose. If someone wants to, they can take everything, including the metal straps. Look closely at the picture and you'll see that the straps are held on by a hand tightened knob, and inside the base, the bar is secured by 2 hand tightened knobs on each end. It can all be completely disassembled by hand, no tools. Once I got the bars positioned correctly on the car I started with the smallest set of metal straps and I couldn't get the bars tight enough on the roof. I could move them back and forth with one hand. It was the same with the other 2 sizes of metal straps. There is a reason the quality roof racks are $300-$500, and these are $65. ... show more

Do not buy this junk, I’m not kidding. I absolutely hate leaving a completely negative review, but His product deserves it. First off... there were parts that were not up to par, one bolt had to be rethreaded before we could use it and one handle was also not threaded to be used properly.... BUT we fixed it made it work. Did fine driving around low speed close to home, but once we hit the highway we lost the whole rack kayaks and all and scratched the hell out of the top of my car. The main brackets disintegrated, so had to go for a second vehicle to retrieve the kayaks. ... show more

These racks are a really great product for the price. I had no issues getting them put together and ready to install. We have a Honda CRV, the curvature of the roof and the short distance between the racks created a configuration that didn't work for us. NO FALT of the manufacturer.
