I have had this microphone for less than 6 months and the cords already quit working. I tried using other cords and they don't work either. Disappointed. Would think it would be a bit better quality for the price point.

This is a nice and well built mic. Love that it comes with all the cord types, as well as a carrying pouch. This mic is designed for use as a hand held interview style mic. It does not have a lot of gain -- or if you turn the gain up it gets noisy really fast. So this is not something that you put on an arm and have it 3 feet away from you. It needs to be used 6 inches close to the speaker to sound good. The mic itself is very well built. The gain dial on the handle is a bit loose -- very easy to accidentally turn. So handle with "care". Overall, if you are looking for a good quality hand held mic, this is great. ... show more
