    • gorgeous and unique
The ceramic band on this watch is beautiful and has to be seen in-person to appreciate. The ceramic has a pearlescent luster that looks quite expensive. My wife immediately fell in love with the unique materials and design and her apple watch was quickly relegated to her pocket (for steps tracking) so she could have this watch on full display. I know that it will usually only come out for special occasions, but this watch is definitely worth pulling out at those times. The dial is understated but beautiful. The crystal dial is clear. In my experience, Movado dials hold up well to reasonable abuse. I expect the same from this. The worst thing about it was adjusting the band. I have a watch band adjustment toolkit and still found this to be a maddening exercise. Each metal pin has three components that have to be installed on top of each other (the base is a metal pin, like every other watch, then a sleeve fits over that, and then a second sleeve fits over that.) I spent at least an hour removing links so I could fit this to my wife's wrist. Once I got the hang of it, I was much faster, but initially I didn't realize there were three metal pieces per link and some of those went flying off onto the floor. Be prepared when adjusting this! Once properly sized, the clasp holds with good strength and I doubt this will fall off. Overall, a great watch for special occasions and also something different than the normal leather and metal watch band materials. ... show more

    • Beautiful watch; lightweight but substantial
I have been wanting a white ceramic watch for awhile, but I've been reluctant to invest a significant amount of money in something that won't be a daily part of my wardrobe. This is a great piece because it's well-made, substantial, and elegant (but still sporty), but it's priced very reasonably. I like the large face, and it's very comfortable. It works well, and is easy to ready. I like the weight-- it's lightweight, but not so much so that you doubt its durability or quality; it has some heft to it without being bulky or heavy. I've worn it for about 10 days just to see how it would hold up to the rough treatment I will inevitably give it...so far, so good (even with two goofy pups banging me around all of the time). I would definitely recommend this watch at this price point. It seems to offer good quality at a good price, and it looks great. It doesn't aggravate my allergy and eczema-prone skin. It has plenty of links for a large wrist (I had a few removed, and my wrists aren't small). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this watch! It goes with basically everything since it's white and gold. The look is classy, simple, elegant, and bold. I get so many compliments on this piece! It's a stunning addition to my accessories! I got this to have a nice watch to wear when I have an event or night out - but I ended up wearing it all the time! My father, who is a watch aficionado recommended a Movado and this watch had the look I wanted; something classy and versatile. This watch checks all of the boxes for me. The only thing that I will say was difficult, is that I couldn't get the links out. The links aren't the same as other Movado watches, there are no actual screws. These links had to be tapped out delicately, which I had done for me - I did not trust myself to do this correctly. Once the links were removed, the watch fit perfectly and really only leaves my wrist for workouts, water, and sleeping! **I do wear the watch while hand washing dishes and I have never had an issue with water damage or complications from getting a little wet. Honest review here. This is a great quality watch that is also very chic looking and great for summer. This Movado Women's Stainless Steel with ceramic brand and swiss quartz timing is a great updated style and very chic but not too bright. The 36mm white ceramic case is the perfect size for me too. The yellow gold color is the right color and not too bright. It has a white toned dial which I love too. Works great and the K1 mineral crystal is clear and durable (shatter resistant too).
