I live in Satellite Beach, east of Orlando very close to the beach. I placed my outdoor tv on a wall without any protection from the elements, and even though it's an outdoor tv I wanted to shield it from the afternoon sun and Florida afternoon thunderstorms. I wasn't counting on Milton or I'd have probably had the tv removed and placed inside to keep it safe, but it weathered the storm (luckily) just fine and the cover worked perfectly. My tv is a 65" and this cover fits like a glove. There is velcro along the bottom and corners and even upward drafts didn't blow it open and get it wet. It was about half the cost of the manufacturer's cover, and it's a great alternative. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a tv cover for your outdoor tv you need to buy this one. The price is great for the product you receive. The material is strong and durable it won’t tear easily. It comes with pockets on the back side that allows you to store the tv cables and/or a remote. It also has Velcro at the bottom which allows you to incase the entire tv. The material is breathable and doesn’t fit the tv too snug. This was a concerns of mine since I live in Southeast Louisiana where the heat index gets up to 115 degree during the summer. Rest assured your tv will not sweat. I went outside on a 99 degree weather day and my tv was not hot and was not sweating this cover keep it protected. My tv is mounted under an awning which typically hold moister but it is not in a place where it would get wet from direct rain water ….so I can’t provide feedback on whether it would protect against water. The only con is that it’s difficult to get in touch with customer services. I accidentally ordered the wrong size cover and need to exchange it for a bigger size. It took almost 7 business days to get in touch with someone and get a replacement order processed. However once I was able to get in touch with someone they did everything possible to ensure I received a replacement asap. I have a Mounting Dream TV Wall Mount with a 50" LG TV mounted to it. This cover is intended to extend the life of the TV, which is not made to be outdoors. We buy them inexpensively and have become reconciled to replacing them every few years. Our TV is mounted on a patio under a protected area where it is not exposed to rain. After replacing a Samsung TV after three years, I decided to try this cover to see if I could extend the life of the new TV by a couple of years. The cover is pretty roomy for a 50" TV and easy to put on. The bottom seams close quickly, but the rear covers are a bit more problematic, especially if you have more than just an HDMI and power cord attached. Like other Mounting Dream products, this one is of excellent quality, and time will tell whether the hassle of putting a cover over the TV when it's not in use makes a difference in extending the life of the TV. ... show more
