  • Nice item!
Everything is as described. Everything works wells and hold Tv well!

  • Make sure to double measure.
It's pretty solid. Bought for a 32 inch TV and wanted to have the tv mounted at the 90° angle so the side bezel was flush with the wall. The arm isn't long enough for 90°. It's probably 80° or so. I didn't account for the large TV bezel when planning my purchase so I can't really blame Mount It. A 27 inch TV would likely be perfect for a flush 90°. It tilts up and down slightly. It would be nice to see one more articulation point. The swivel is good, but maybe a bit too easy to move. The two large screws for the base plate that go through your wall are hex heads. I didn't have a large enough socket for my drill so I measured the screw length and pre drilled; then used the dinky sized adjustment wrench that came with the mount. It took a while but it works. I'm used to seeing Philips heads on wall mount stuff so I was ill prepared. It's a pretty good value overall. Maybe the 3rd or 4th Mount It product I've gotten. I may grease the arm joints up as they are a bit stiff. It serves the purpose I purchased it for. ... show more

  • You need your own tools, some common sense and knowledge.
I purchased this for the price and amazon recommended it. First time ever mounting anything to a wall other than a picture frame with a hammer and a nail. You will need your own tools obviously, drill bits, hammer drill, flat head screwdriver, a level, stud finder unless you know how to find studs without one. The wrench that comes with the mount is only meant for the tilt adjustment, not for getting the bolts in the wall, obviously. It took me about 30 minutes in total to get my 32in samsung smart tv up. Find the correct rack settings for the bolts to hold your tv, there's 3 different options and ways for them to work, very versatile, I'd say it really can go with any 32 or below in television. Find the stud in the wall, measure how high you want your tv make the marks then drill your holes first before drilling the bolts in attaching the mount to the wall. It can be easy when swiveling it to slightly turn the tv where it's not parallel to the ground, but just as easy as it is for that to happen, its just as easy to put it back and straighten it out, how you would a crooked picture. I recommend this product, but mainly I recommend that if you know nothing about the proper tools and process when it comes to things like this, don't go in blind, fail at doing it yourself then blame the product, seller and amazon. Just pay amazon to mount it for you. That or watch youtube videos before trying anything. I did, even as I was putting it up. Im satisfied with the end result and the fact that I did it myself. ... show more

  • It is good for being cheap
I like it the only thing is that once you have a large screen with the bracket mounted it is possible to brake the mounding pins

  • Rock solid once you put it together.
I bought this because it was the cheapest swivel-arm mount for a 42 inch TV when I was looking. I can't complain for the price I paid. I think people are critical of it because you have to take a second to figure out how to align the mounting brackets. Just lay the TV face down and put everything into place before screwing it together. I mean, if you're drilling holes to mount this, you should be able to handle a few small lock-nuts. It came with anchors for the wall, I split one in half to plug the mount holes firmly. The only other thing I could criticize is that you have to use a pliers or small box wrench to lock-in where you set the tilt. Again, these are all things you do once and forget about. The mount swivels, turns and rotates making the 42 inch TV visible from any spot in the room, so I gave it 5 stars. I can't deduct a whole point because it takes Lego-level ability to install, especially since it fits so many types of TV mount layouts. ... show more

  • Does what it says it’ll do
Somewhat easy to install, putting the mount on the tv got a bit wonky because it’s designed to adapt to tv but it got figured out anyway, wall mount can’t move up and down which is inconvenient but it doesn’t say it can

  • Delightfully surprised.
I bought this arm to mount my brother's TV. His TV still supported 200 x 200mm installation, but I had to install the extensions included... wherein lies some minor issues. Can be slightly annoying to align these extension bars, and then you cannot tighten the tension of the angle/tilt after it's on the TV, because the bolt is on the inside. So needless to say, the screen can be quite wobbly if you don't tight it ahead of time. However, overall, not bad if you want a small footprint on the wall. I love the heavy-duty ones, but those can be difficult to center where the studs are in the wall. With this, you only have one stud to worry about, so the mount need not be centered at all, since the double-hinge can accommodate far left or right or somewhere in between, assuming you are okay with any gap you'd have to leave away from the wall. ... show more
